La Toundra — Attraction in Montreal

We had the honour of attending a wedding here November 25, 2023. The venue is fabulous and it would have been perfect…But the walls of the dinner reception are all glass and those of us seated on the right side of the room with our backs facing the windows froze. The baseboard heaters in this half the room were not functioning and no one knew how to turn them on. For those of us seated along the windows it made for a most uncomfortable evening, and an early one at that. It’s unfortunate that there wasn’t a single person in the facility that could turn on the heaters! So brides, if you are having a late fall or winter wedding beware! We attended a wedding here and were surprised by how tranquil the garden is and the exceptional service. The outdoor ceremony area is like a botanical garden with beautiful flowers. The indoor space has unique décor and the lighted ceiling gives you the impression of being outside in a tent. The bar selection was limited (this may have been the choice of the event planner) and our meals were not memorable. The highlight of the evening for us was the quality of the service the staff provided. A lot of attention to detail and guest's safety.

We just had our wedding this past weekend and all we can say is WOW. This venue is one of the most gorgeous in all of Montreal, from the lighting, to the indoor design, to the architecture and of course, the garden. We have nothing but absolutely positive things to say about our experience with the rental managers. All of our guests were blown away by the atmosphere. If you are considering this place as a rental for an event - do it. We will remember our special day for a lifetime, and it happened flawlessly. Thank you from the bottom...
