Update March 25: Been to this buffet more times than I counted.

Official review: My first time eating at this buffet and it was alright. Here is my review.

It was busy since it was Father’s Day.

Pros: A) The buffet is on the top floor so on some seatings you may have a good view and if your inside no view. B) Selection was alright. It’s a smaller buffet but the quality was worth it. C) Our waiter (don’t know his name). He was so friendly and funny at the same. He was an older gentleman. He filled our water too. D) The atmosphere was good it felt like you were at home and not that noisy. C) The food was really good. It tasted well and some were alright but majority was good. D) Washrooms were clean and well taken care of. E) Elevators are available for those who need. F) Reservation is easy except on busy nights and you may need to reserve there at the Cansino. Sometimes to get just the table is hard since they select for you and you can’t sit anywhere you go.

Cons: A) Since it’s in the top it’s a long way to get from the bottom to the top. B) Some staff are nice especially if they know you and some are not. A lot of the chefs there are filling up the food and they were working well like cleaning the counters and thing like that. C) They need to practice their English more. Some are bilingual but they need to improve on English. D) It’s a small buffet but not like others I have been to so food can be limited.

Conclusion: Other than that this buffet is a go and try it if you haven’t. It’s a good decent buffet and I would not mind coming back especially since the quality is good and it’s in the Casino so you know your getting good food.

Maybe make the Casino and the food better environmentally friendly and sustainable and also make it better by improving and listening to customer feedback and ideas.

Also add more space and maybe add more nice views if possible in the near future.

Also make the Casino open everyday for Buffet instead of 5 days.

I've been for Sunday brunches and weekday lunch. The staff is inconsistently informed. I called 3 weeks before the desired lunch date and was told lunch time buffet was only first come first serve over the holidays. The reception staff, while lovely, seemed unsure so I called again the following day. I was given the same information: no reservations (group size never mentioned). My sister happened to be having supper with friends the following week and was given the schedule (c.f. below) and advised there are no reservations for lunch and that supper reservations have been booked full until past new year. That's ok. Our larger group agreed to meet up earlier to line up before the lunch crowds. Imagine our surprise when they seated all these people who walked in WITH RESERVATIONS. One couple happened to be friends who told us they made reservations that week. When this issue was mentioned to the unsmiling hostess, she answered unapologetically, "We always have 20 spots open for reservations. You must've checked too late." Um, no. I verified 3 times because the logistics between a bunch of young working professionals is complicated enough without the uncertainty of lineups (and two of the guys had a poker tournament at 1:15 PM). Not cool. The food itself is adequate and the kitchen and wait staff are always helpful. The dessert buffet is varied and fun. Shame the reception is so inconsistent.
