Musée de Lachine — Attraction in Montreal

Le musée de Lachine conserve une grande partie du patrimoine de Ber-Le Moyne, qui est une collection archéologique classée, installée dans des bâtiments du XVIIe siècle.

Il est actuellement fermé pour sa rénovation, cependant des activités culturelles sont présentées autour du musée et sont gratuites pour tous.

Comme les Compagnons de la Nouvelle-France et la Compagnie de Lacorne qui ont installé 1 :) campement pendant tout un week-end.

Des soldats et des civils costumés donnent vie aux interactions dans le camp et partagent le mode de vie de l'époque avec tous les participants.

Le forgeron Bourgeois a expliqué son métier et le groupe Danse Cadence a fait danser tout le monde.

Very nice park with art work all around the bike and walking paths. Bike, walk, picnic and spend hours just looking and enjoying everything that's here. Boats, bike ferry $, ice cream and snacks. Here is a challenge for you. Park here and try to walk every park including this one, that are walkable right from here all the way to 56 ave in lachine and back, and don't forget the museum of Lachine and the fur museum.. Now try not to go to bed early. Ha, good luck and sleep...

I cycled there on my way to the lighthouse so there were no parking fees. It was a worthwhile stop. Staff (Habile was her name) was pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. Her tour was quite interesting. This is definitely a must see. Although admission is free, there is a donation box so bring some spare change to...
