Even though you were not allowed to bring your cars there or the docks were empty at the time of my visit that doesn't mean it was empty. Not at all. I had decided to take an early walk. My first trip there after the lockdown. There wasn't a lot of foot traffic but there was a lot of people going back and forth on their bicycles. The morning was so fresh and nice. The temperature was so right. Unlike today. Everyone I encountered was social distancing including myself. Several people actually said thank you to me when they saw me moving out of their way when we pass each other that made me smile. While I was enjoying the beautiful park and nature I came upon a duck down in the water looking for food along the banks of the Lachine Canal. I stopped for a while and took pictures of him and even a video. Then I continued walking. It’s not extensive, one might finish walking the whole park (starting from the right side path and returning through the left side path) in around 30 minutes, but it’s still worth the visit! I went there in late October on a sunny day, and despite wearing a warm jacket, I wished I had brought gloves. The trees were beautiful with fall colours! I cannot wait to see this park in the winter. Highly...
