Was really disappointed to find out that Sephora’s return policy for Christmas only accepts the return before January 15th 2023. I received a benefit eyeliner and mascara as a Christmas gift and did not even receive the gift till past that date, as it was mailed to me and delays with mail over Christmas should be expected. Even if I were to have got the gift by Christmas, December 25th - January 15th is 21 days which is not an extended time at all, that is less then 30 days (normal return period time). The gift was purchased online, and are both not opened. I don’t think it is right to have such a short “extended” Christmas return period if you are asking for a store credit for the products you received as a GIFT as I have no control over when the gift was purchased. If you are going to offer an extended return option for Christmas it shouldn’t start in November and you should have different rules as most people won’t get the gift till December 25th so the return policy should at the bare minimum at least start on that date. Read moreI am dumb when it comes to make up and my friends always helped me with my make up. However I wanted to try make up on my own and understand how it works. I visited Sephora because word of mouth from my friends and I randomly met Customer Service Specialist Heidi. She is very kind and carries good knowledge of the products. Heidi helped me to get my first ever Foundation and concealer. She scanned my skin tone to find the perfect blend on Sephora app and showed me how to apply and blend the make up on my skin. She also advised me to hydrate when the app showed that my skin type is dry, instead of simply assuming it. Not only she is a good sales and product representative but she also encouraged me that I am beautiful in every way and make up is just secondary for my looks.

Read moreFirst visit into store. Store: clean and organized, and wonderful bright colors. Staff: when arriving we were greeted nicely, we were left to browse amongst the other customers, then it felt like I was being watched, saw couple staff peering at me wherever I went in the store and would look away quickly when I would look at them. I don't enjoy being watched and was ready to leave without buying anything. My daughter though very much wanted a couple items from there, so I got them hesitantly. Product: my daughter was very happy with her pallet and body spray she got, I was wanting to try some brushes but hurried out once my daughter found what she really wanted.
I will go back again and hope that being watched like that was a one time experience, which is why I only did 4...
