A very nice theatre. It is conveniently located at an easily accessible and central location in downtown Oakville, has a good size stage, relatively comfortable seats with good sight lines from all of them, nice big lobby with a bar. My only issue with the theatre itself is that there is no actual orchestra pit. This both poses a challenge for productions as to where to house the orchestra as well as is a letdown to people like me who enjoy sitting up front and watching the actual orchestra play during musical productions. The other issue here, and the reason for the deduction of a star, is parking. There is no actual dedicated parking lot, at least not that I could find and none that my GPS recognized. There are other small lots fairly close by and there is nearby street parking, but it does make it a bit of an adventure to find parking that is not a long hike away when everyone is arriving at about the same time and the area is already busy with those patronizing restaurants etc. If attending a show at this venue, I would plan to leave early in anticipation of having to hunt for parking and having a bit of a walk to...

The left keyboard's volume was set so high that it drowned out the singer and dominated the performance. The other keyboard was set properly; we could hear the singer and the band sounded like Genisis. The distortion was gone. Someone who knows the venue might help the performers mix the balance & set the volume to a more entertaining level for an audience who has been listening to Genesis for 50 years. An usher and the theatre friend concurred that the sound system settings were not balanced for this show and that it was really loud, louder than a Genisis concert of the day. My hearing was affected for several days. You might bring earplugs as...
