I cannot remember a time when I felt so let down by a company. I ordered a bouquet and flower crown from this location. My brother who lives overseas was getting married and the bouquet and crown were a gift to his new wife. I had emailed and ordered over a month out and then called the week prior to confirm. Everything was fine. On the day of the wedding when we went to pick up the flowers they had not been done... there was nothing to pick up. I was mortified. They said they tried to call the day prior to confirm and when they didn't hear back they assumed we didn't want them and did not complete them. I was at a loss. How could you make an assumption like that???? I was embarrassed to have to go back to my family and my new sister-in-law and tell her that I had nothing. My husband went back to the shop and they put something together quickly. Not only did it delay the whole day by an hour, it put a cloud over everything. I felt I let everyone down by putting my trust in this company. On the day of, after the issue had been realized they showed no real remorse or concern and charged the full amount. Read moreThis place is beautiful and I was so impressed by ambiance of the place. I decided to take a video as I wanted to share this place on my instagram accounts with my 300K + followers. As soon as I began to take a video of an "orchid" on my cell phone, a man's voice yelled from the back " no photos, there's a sign that says no photos" . His tone was very unprofessional. For one, I didn't see the sign and secondly, as a business owner of a flower shop you clearly understand that just as delicate as your flowers may be, so is your reputation and the way you treat your clients. I was so turned off by his rude demeanor, I ofcourse would not promote his business on my page, nor would I purchase anything from his shop simply for his lack of tact, and his poor customer service. And I don't understand why a video of his store would upset him, for one, you didn't CREATE the ORCHID.... yess you make arrangements which are beautiful but they are clearly displayed on your website and people can recreate them if that is your concern. Read moreI know this business over 17 years...working in the same industry and supplied many stores around GTA. Great family to deal with, respectfull, polite and caring even before I started in the floral industry back in 2003. One of the unique shop in Downtown Oakville with a successful record of great customer service and business. There were many shops in the same area which they don't exist any more but Firoi florist every year better than year before. Sometimes we just passing by and my wife always ask to at least stop by and look for FIORI, and she praises them on the highend taste and unique products!!!.
Freshcutflower industry is one of the most delicate businesses to run. you need to wake up 4 AM...and get home late afternoon/evening, and 6-7days per week you need to constantly babysit your products. Moreover, no one is perfect and businesses like this, specially dealing with perishable luxury product like FLOWERS has many challenges every single day.
So please remember everything and be kinder when reviewing a good business model like Fiori.
