This is a lovely shop but the issue with the change rooms needs to be addressed.

There are no mirrors in the change rooms which means you have to fully come out and be in the view of other customers. This isn’t the worst of it, the curtains always leave a few inches no matter which way you pull them, leaving you exposed to other people. I’ve seen other women changing just by walking by and it’s not comfortable.

For a business catering to different women, there should be more attention paid to creating a comfortable environment. A mirror would help inside the change room. I literally need to plan my attire before coming in to shop. I can’t wear a dress because I can’t try a top if I have a dress on, as I’ll need to come out to see how the clothing fits. So I’m forced to wear pants or shorts every time I know I’ll be stopping by to browse.

While I don't typically write reviews of women's fashion retailers, I am inspired to do so with Must after several excellent experiences when shopping with my wife.

First and foremost, the clothing and accessories are well made, attractive and well priced considering the quality. The store is bright and spacious and conveniently located in a desirable location in downtown Oakville.

What sets Must apart is the friendly and knowledgeable staff, who create a friendly and welcoming environment. On our most recent visit, staff offered sparkling wine and bourbon, and while my wife found several perfect pieces, I had the luxury of a comfortable place to sit and enjoy my beverage. It was a very comfortable way to wait, as opposed to most shopping experiences where I try to wedge myself between racks somewhere out of everyones way!

I would suggest any guy looking at an afternoon shopping should steer his wife or girlfriend...

MUST in Oakville is a fabulous place from top to bottom. The owner does a fabulous job with weekly Instagram videos and merchandising the store, highlighting featured clothing and colours in a flawless manner. The MUST team of stylists are amazing. They are fun, always laughing and are very supportive (it's evident they love to be there)...and know how to bring out the very best in each client.
