Coventry Gardens — Attraction in Ontario

Beautiful gardens that are well maintained by professional gardeners.

This park has the peace fountain (will not be in operation until July 2019 due to a delay in getting parts).

Bathrooms are available near the Pilette entrance. They are not the cleanest or nicest, but they get the job done. There is a water fountain, and a nice ice cream shop that always has a huge lineup (very popular).

They recently added a concrete ping pong table to the park. I've never seen anyone else use it. I've played with my family several times. It is quite breasy at the river at all times, and this adds quite a twist to the game. If it is actually windy, don't bother.

There's parking at the end of Pilette, but I recommend parking in the overflow lot just a block up from Riverside on Pilette.

This place is so beautiful. The Horticultural and walkway paths are always clean and gorgeous. Charlie Brooks had set aside many acres of land to keep beautiful parts of the city left untouched. With a peace fountain in full swing it's a beautiful place to chill out for a small picnic,bring the kids to hang out. The water levels Rising it's cool to watch the water come crusting over the front of the cement path by the river. There's a crazy sound when the waves come in hit the cement at the water's edge. It shoots the water up in the air right at your face it's pretty cool. With plenty of shade there's lots of places for the dogs to hide and stay out of the Heat. And there's great ice cream available right...

A very picturesque park area, it's definitely a great place to take a walk with your family, friends, and dogs (especially in the summer where they've really gone all out and the flowers are in full bloom with not a weed in sight on the beds). Great place with a ping pong area and plenty of park benches with shade from the trees. Definitely a good place to have a picnic. Parking is free and there's a lot of garbage cans to throw out your garbage. The flowers, like the sunflowers, hydrangeas, lily, hedges, etc. are great backgrounds to take a picture with other than the fountain. Would definitely come back, maybe in the winter or fall to have a different experience walking...
