Very narrow trails. Anyone comes the other way either walking or on bike you have to stop and move over. This place is very swampy I will not go during mosquito season it has to be horrible. One trail leads you along people's back yards this to me was weird and invasive. There is garbage everywhere along the trails and the only pail I saw which was at the entrance was over flowing. There is also no washroom which is definitely not family friendly. I will probably not go back. This is unfortunate because this could be a gem with...

The small park is amazingly laid out with symmetrical trails that has a centre point and I make it a point to stand at the spot and enjoy the meaningful symmetry! A nice park with tall woods and a slightly rugged trail that brings the feeling of being in the forest amidst a city space. The oak trees are about 200 years old and their presence is definitely felt on a solitary walk through the woods. Essex regional conservation authority can do more to clear the garbage from the...

The Conservation Area part of Devonwood is great in late fall, winter, and early spring when there are no mosquitoes. In summer Devonwood can be dense with mosquitoes.

But as others have mentioned, there's something nefarious going on in the parking lot which is full of men lurking in their cars. It can be very disquieting, and hopefully the city will be able to do something about that. Whatever is going on, a conservation area is not the appropriate...
