Hi Ho Diner — Restaurant in Ontario

I think I missed the 'wait to be seated sign' and unknowingly ruined our waitresses day. She slammed the syrup down right in front of me, did not serve a coffee refill. We had to ask another waitress who was very nice. My eggs and. The bacon snapped like a twig, the toast was burned and the home fries were hard and she didnt bring cream to the table for the coffee. Another waitress saw this and asked if she could replace the eggs, I said yes and went to get my own cream. The toast was burned black so.I asked our original waitress for another one. The toast she brought back wasn't toasted it was warm bread and only buttered in the center. I believe I was served a spite breakfast because this young girl had a huge problem with us. She should never of been a waitress. She had a poor attitude and when asked to make the toast again, just couldn't handle it and gave me warm bread. We did not tip, even though there was another very nice waitress who replaced our food, brought us coffee, replaced our food and appoligized for this young nasty waitress. It has been well over 6 months since my experience with this "restaurant", and I cannot emphasize how disappointing it was. We showed up 1 hour before closing time and they were locking the doors! We planned to come back at another time but someone dragged us back and insisted we come in, to eat. Worse thing we could have done. Once seated, the staff there made it a point to ensure we would never want to come back. Would you believe we were told that they needed to brew a pot of coffee if we really wanted some! Then, once we were presented with our food (most menu items were not available), the staff waited around with their coats on for us to finish, so they could leave. We literally had to look the other way to avoid the glares. You have to laugh a little here because the waitress did approach us to see if there was anything else we wanted and we requested a refill on the coffee. We were told that they had already "dumped" it. This was by far, one of the worst restaurant experience I have had it quite some time and, honesty, makes cafeteria service in high school seem marvelous. My suggestion, if you want to close early, don't invite people in only to be treated like...

This place used to be great! Since launch though things have slowly slipped in the wrong direction. I come in for breakfast at least once a week sometimes twice; usually with my family and my parents. The food always used to be awesome and the wait staff amazing. Now it's more like half of the wait staff are awesome were the other half are awful. The above issue could be resolved by waiting longer and requesting sitting in certain individuals section. This bigger problem as of late is the food. I don't know what happened if the cooks changed, they don't care anymore, or if the quality of ingredients changed. My last 3 of 4 breakfast orders have been awful finally sent one back yesterday, when it returned back from the kitchen it was no better. I'd say it almost appeared like they attempted to take my eggs from completely over cooked I asked for soft to not cooked at all. Like it was a childish how dare you sent it back ploy.
