"Other Chinese supermarkets"? If you're going to write a review at least get it right, this isn't a Chinese supermarket, it's a KOREAN supermarket. Please try to understand the difference. I find it unbelievable, and frankly offensive, that someone who actually shopped here, which would mean physically looking at the Korean writing at the front & inside of the store, took their time to leave a review and wasn't able to notice (or bother taking the time to do even just a little research) that this is a KOREAN market.
Anyway, don't heed the 1 star review. This is a great place to shop. Moving here from Toronto, I really - and I mean really - missed Koreatown, PAT (I still miss shopping there), kimchi, and the walnut cakes, so much so that I was getting ready to take the 2+ hr drive to Christie & Bloor, fight traffic, and put myself through hellacious torture finding a parking spot, just to get my fix. Amazing family owned store I would...
Read moreI like this place. This is one of only Korean food stores left in London currently. The owners are really nice, and they recognize me so it's nice to talk to them, and ask questions. Wide variety of foods from fresh to frozen to instant are available, and even some they make in-house which are absolutely amazing. Of course, some products being imported from Korea means they can get very pricey, but if you know and love those products, then it's worth your time and money to give this place a visit. You can enter via Baseline or Wellington, and great parking spots are...
