Pembroke Memorial Centre — Attraction in Ontario

In growing up In pembroke was part of seeing this building go from dream to reality yes I remember the sr. Pembroke iumber kings and the NOHA. Knew many of not only the senior kings but the junior kings as well. Perfect old arena. It could use a coat of paint, some of the toilets leak, it smells like hockey. Some of the slowest, best Zamboni drivers I've ever seen, the ice is actually frozen when they finally get off the ice, instead of the usual lakes I see at other arenas.

We have started going to the parent and tot skates on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in March and a few weeks into April. It's been a great way for my mom and my little to spend time together.
