Awesome place. Can't say enough good about the nostalgia like atmosphere, the food and the staff. Love how it's like stepping back in time in some respects. This place is a long time Pembroke staple under newer younger ownership. Great food, great portions, great prices, very friendly staff, can't go wrong with the place. Probably the best Pizza in the Pembroke and Petawawa areas. A better pie I don't know of locally but for the best experience take the kids out and dine in there and get it piping hot fresh from the oven. The all day breakfast choices are numerous with tons of choices there is literally something for everyone on the breaky menu. This place is everything a old school resteraunt should be. Make sure to say hi to Dayna as she is the mastermind behind the renewed success of the place and always greets you with a warm and welcoming smile and a wave. Truely the place feels more like home then a restaurant and I hope it's around for many many more years to enjoy. Dayna and Julian keep up the great work and don't ever change who you guys are. Absolutely amazing restaurant! The food was so filling and yummy. The portions were insanely large! Took my in-laws to this establishment to try it out since my husband and I have lived here for about 2.5 years now and have always wanted to try it out!

We got seated quickly, the waiter did his best with everyone despite it being a very busy time. He checked in with us every now and again and always refilled our coffee promptly.

My father in law noted that most restaurants over batter their fish with not much actual fish included, and he was really impressed with his fish & chips.

My mother in law got the lasagna, and honestly, she ate what she could at the restaurant and then her and my father in law shared the remainder for dinner that night. It was SUCH a big piece of lasagna! Definitely worth every penny.

This is the closest thing Pembroke has to a real diner - the reviewers saying the decor is "outdated" must be confused about what Bonanza is. These "reviewers" (if you can call them that) are totally missing the ambience and nostalgia that Bonanza so successfully brings to the table. You go there for breakfast. It is called "Bonanza Breakfast". Hardly any time at all passes between when you make your order and the food arrives - the food comes suspiciously fast. Pembroke needs more of this! Less Walmart.
