Joes Family Pizzeria — Restaurant in Ontario

Huge shoutout and much love to the amazing folks at Joe’s Family Pizzeria!

Not only is the food delicious, well portioned and affordable, but it’s served in a great spot by phenomenal folks! And they were happy to support a local content creator like myself by allowing me to stream my visit on Twitch! So cool of them!

I stopped by for their All-You-Can Eat Pizza, Wings, and Poutine deal and was NOT disappointed! Buy a drink, pay 24.99$ plus tax (and tip) and eat till your heart is content! And that’s what I did!

Two Hearty Poutines, Two HUGE pizza slices and 24 Hefty wings (plus a can of Root Beer and a medium slushie) later and I was stuffed to say the least!

The fries are so crispy and cooked to perfection, they have a crazy variety of cheese and sauce options, and it all comes together to form a great poutine! The classic poutine was my favourite by far though!

The pizza slices are top notch! Delicious dough, with a perfect thickness and crust. Their pizza sauce is perfectly flavoured and seasoned and their selection of combinations for toppings includes classic pizzas and creative new experiences as well! Something for every pallet! I suggest trying the Sweet & Spicy Beef if you’re feeling adventurous!

The wings were delicious also! No heavy breading, fried perfectly and the selection of flavours was incredible. If I had more room I would have eaten more wings! I HIGHLY suggest trying their wings tossed in their house BOOM BOOM sauce! Such a zangy name, such a tangy sauce!

And did I mentioned they have eating challenges!? What more could you want from a local Mom & Pop eatery?

I will visit again, and I suggest anyone reading this review does too!

A True Gem in Pembroke – Joe’s Family Pizzeria is Outstanding!

If you’re anywhere near Pembroke and haven’t experienced Joe’s Family Pizzeria, you’re seriously missing out on a slice of heaven! This place isn’t just a pizzeria—it’s a warm, welcoming hub of mouthwatering goodness and genuine hospitality.

From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like family. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. And the food? Out of this world. The pizza is perfectly crisped on the outside, chewy on the inside, and generously loaded with the freshest toppings. Went in around 630 tonight. Ordered pizza bites and an order of pierogies. When it was ready at approx. 7:05 the pizza bites were nice and hot but the pierogies were cold. It was almost as if the cooked them right away and then let them sit for the half hour while we waited for the pizza bites. Not only were they cold but they were sitting in a pile of grease. I was very disappointed. Unfortunately when the food was finally ready we headed right over to the waterfront to enjoy so I didn't realize how cold and swimming in grease they were until we got there or else I would have brought it to their attention.

In hindsight I believe that I should have contacted the Pizzeria and stated my complaints before adding a rather negative review. I will say that my other experiences here have definitely been better. The owner contacted me and offered to make it right. The customer service brought my review from a 1 star to a 3. I am hoping that my experience was just the result of a super busy night. I will give this place...
