Horrific experience. Extremely rude, nasty man. I wouldn't recommend a visit to this place at all. He wouldn't allow anyone in with health issues including cancer without mask. He was so miserable that i was glad to go elsewhere along with 7 other car loads of people who over heard his rant at me. If I were a mask I'd die. He had illegal signage on building...

Under the Human Rights Act, he has zero control over anyone with an autoimmune disease, cancer, diabetes, heart issues, or any other disease. He doesn't even have the right to ask the issue.

However, how he could he avoid closure of his store until he is properly investigated by a Human Rights Commission???

By being kinder, gentler with people who deserve to be treated well by a store owner.

How could he quickly as a "business owner" have defused the situation??

By simply offering to get me anything I needed & allowing me the dignity to at least pay for some products, well i waited outside...That would be understandable. But he failed.

Information is imperative in these times of a so called pandemic, its uneducated "people" like this man who couldn't possibly understand the mask he wore couldn't even stop a cold.

I prayed for his eyes to be open by the masses of people who will never visit there again.

Very sad little man who has to be so abusive to people trying to buy essential.

I was welcomed with open arms at the next 3 i visited & bought well over $2000 in products I needed...I use ever possible part of lavendar from food to pillows, sleep mask, essential oils, honey, mead everything I...

Had a great stay until this morning when my friends and I were expecting to get breakfast with our stay as advertised and we did not receive any breakfast at all from the host.

There property is lovely and the rooms are clean except under the bed has a lot of dust and some garbage.

Poor communication from the host Jessie in regards to not receiving breakfast would have be good. Because we requested the kitchen to store our item from our travels to the bnb we did not receive any breakfast this morning. If we were told that on arrival that we would not be getting breakfast because we are using that same kitchen that she uses to cook the breakfasts for guests I would have kept our products in a cooler bag in the house instead. There has been poor since Thursday when I requesting instructions about the house.

We arrived yesterday evening and still received none. Nor did she tell us yesterday on arrival that we wouldn’t be getting breakfast either. Other guests have stated on VRBO and Air BnB that they received a lovely breakfast, but we didn’t! We would have brought our own groceries for breakfast if we had none that in the instructions as requested prior to arrival.

This property is not accessible either.

Julie at the giftshop was so pleasant and helpful....

Needed to find a place to stay for one night that was close to a wedding that I was attending near by. Found this place on Airbnb and was pleasantly surprised how nice it was. Some parts of the house were over 100 years old according to Jessie, who is the new owner. She is a very nice helpful woman who is always smiling. Loved some of the old wood beams and floors. Room was big enough for a restful stay and air conditioned. Very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast in the morning consisted of egg bites, sausages, hash browns, cereal, fruit, coffee and tea, juices. Great selection and tasty. 😋 The dining room table was all set up for the guests which was nice. Also great sitting on the veranda with a cup of tea and being visited by the owners very friendly dog.

Went out back to see the lavender fields and so many different types. I never knew there was that many.

Also the little store on the property sells so many lavender items is great. I bought a few things and couldn’t leave without some of their tasty cookies.

A very short walk down the road to a winery for lunch, or renting a bicycle. So many wineries in the area. Beautiful area.

If you are wondering would I go back, if in that area, the answer is definitely yes!! 👍

You should...

Our first stop on the day trip to PEC from Toronto, we did not have a chance to stay there this time. The lavender fields are smaller than I expected but they are beautifully maintained and offer a peaceful, scenic setting that's good for a short walk, photos, or just soaking in the calm countryside atmosphere. Each section of the field is labeled with the name/type of lavender, and this is the first time I know there're white lavenders, too. This little educational elements makes the visit more interesting. Too bad we were there after the peak bloom, although the lavender was starting to fade, it was still lovely. I can only imagine how stunning it must be during the Lavender Festival. The gift shop is charming and well-stocked with all kinds of lavender and plants products, including essential oils, soaps, skincare, and even culinary items. Great place to pick up a thoughtful gift. Overall it's a lovely little destination that's worth a stop if you're visiting PEC.

Lavender overkill.....but I liked it ! Wasnt sure what to expect but greeted by big smiles from their parking staff..very nice guys.Admission $10 is clearly overpriced as you still have to pay for everything on the grounds so to pay $10 per person to watch two lavender patches seemed expensive.Items in boutique were great..lots of variety, you can tell they are quality products that are handcrafted...however,again , a little pricey. The smell of lavender drifted everywhere around the grounds which was pleasant.Lavender Cotton candy, lavender gelato, lavender lemonade (i think). Food sold on grounds had diversity but disappointed in Bajan cod fish cakes..they were raw and though replaced with a fresh batch, they were still raw and extremely overpriced.I just cut my losses on that one...however, an upset stomach followed.😬 Overall it was an experience that was different from the average evening...worth the visit😊.
