This is a lovely little park, with many places to sit, stretch, cuddle, or eat dinner.
It is usually pretty quiet here so you can relax on your own, I have seen people doing yoga here before, others reading, or eating. It is visually appealing and the area is filled with interesting information about Prescott and our history.
The parking is good, the views are great, no bad smells, a lovely breeze off of the water in the summer.
There are only two things that I would change but both have insurance implications: -the rail along the water stopped the kids from swimming here, it was always a favourite swimming spot as kids -the scuba diving ramp is gone

Read moreI am fortunate enough to live within walking distance of this gorgeous park! The groundskeepers do an excellent job of keeping everything neat and tidy. There's picnic tables set throughout to encourage people to enjoy a meal while their children play on the boat-shaped play structure. There's also benches along the water side to sit and enjoy the traffic on the water. Read moreIt's a beautiful area. It's so peaceful. Never crowded. Plenty of picnic areas, sunny or shady, whichever you prefer. Lots of benches to sit and rest. Newly added bike repair station with basic tools to change a tire, tighten something or fill tires. Newly added colorful Laurentian chairs facing the water, some of which sadly have "gone missing."
