How horrible. New to Prescott and after a long day if unpacking try these guys out. Get half way home and feel something wet so look down and the bag is drenched in juices and my shirt, shorts and wallet inside my pocket are coated with sweet and sour sauce. The lid on them was barely closed and to add insult to it all there was barely and sweet and sour sauce left with the balls. Real good way of ruining a nice evening walk to get dinner and dinner itself

If you’re on your way along the Saint Lawrence river, somewhere between Kingston and Brockville, and needed a memorable break, a stop by Prescott and a meal at Dragon Garden would be a perfect match. Although we all ordered the same dish ( Singapore noodles) since we don’t know much about Chinese food, we didn’t regret our choice :). Also we were offered complimentary chocolates and wings sweets. I definitely recommend!

Delicious food, reasonably priced, generous quantity. Fried rice, rice felt little undercooked, or cold rice wasn't well tossed maybe. General tao was perfect, not too sweet and not so thick gravy.

Meh. The Signapore Noodles were fine as were the Garlic Spare Ribs. However, the "fried" rice was just steamed rice with soya sauce. The Fried Wontons were as expected fried egg roll skins with a piece of meat wrapped in them, but these had a piece of meat that was minature, maybe the size of a small pea. A rip-off at $7.50 for the item.

The most disappointing was the General Tao Chicken. It was just a heavily breaded chunk of chicken in bland, pale orange sauce. Not crispy, not spicy, not like any General Tao I have ever had.

The saddest part though was the behaviour of the Host. When we arrived he was serving four people ahead of us. He was friendly and kind and seemed happy to sell his food. We ordered and then left to wait for the order to be ready for pick up. When we returned as directed, 30 minutes later, the Host was abrupt, impatient and unfriendly. Not at all the man we had seen deal with other customers. Perhaps he didn't...

I've been going here since before I can even remember. My family has a close bond with Dave and Don and I can honestly say this is my favorite restaurant of all time. When my family moved away to their respective locations the first thing we request is to meet up at the Dragon Garden in Prescott. Despite not seeing some of us for years, Dave and Don remember us by name AND the most impressive thing is that they never write down orders no matter how big they are. The food comes out perfect every single time. The atmosphere is nice and quiet and the natural light shines and keeps the place well lit. At night time they turn on the dimmed lights making it a quaint atmosphere. My personal recommendation, the garlic ribs, chicken balls, rice, egg roll, and wonton soup! This restaurant is far better than what the locals call the New Yorker in Brockville....

You know sometimes how food will make you feel a bit queasy? And even though it tasted okay, you still remember that feeling? Unfortunately, that was my experience at Dragon Garden 😥. Now I have to say in full disclosure, I don't necessarily think that there was anything wrong the food, but it had this taste (that I've tasted before) that just didn't sit well with me.

The service was excellent however, and the wait staff are kind. So my 3 star rating mostly reflects the way it made me personally feel. With that said, I would actually recommend that you give this place a try, because you will likely not experience the same thing as...
