First time here this summer and would absolutely go again. Our group was 4 adults and 9 kids. I’ve never laughed so hard in my life. It was like being on an episode of Wipe Out. We had 3 kids under 6 and the rest were 8+ The little kids didn’t last long and neither did the adults! This middle of the lake, obstacle course on steroids is not for the faint of heart. In fact, it’s not for anyone over the age of 30. And if you’re the kind of person whose knees hurt when it rains, don’t even think about attempting this. First of all, you have to swim out to it in a freezing cold lake riddled with weeds. Then, if you can even get onto this contraption, you won’t remain there for long. In the middle of this contraption is a large, flat round surface. I dubbed it “parent rock” because that’s where all the parents and grandparents were perched like seals on a boulder. I heard one lady say “I’ve made a terrible mistake” That being said, the kids 8+ had the time of their lives. Even though only 1 out of 6 of them lasted the full two hours. Those of us who weren’t cut out for military basic training enjoyed hanging out at the stunning beach full of conveniences like change rooms, wash rooms and splash pad while our older kids slipped and slithered like graceful apes across this wet, plastic parent trap. Everyone was exhausted for the 2 hour drive home. And we all suffered delayed onset muscle soreness the next day, as if we’d been training for a marathon after a decade of couch sitting.

Don’t get me wrong. Im giving this place 5 stars. They’ve got life guards perched on this thing like wobbly gargoyles and we’re all in life jackets. I just think you should watch your kids enjoy it, from the comfort of your...

The surrounding area is lovely, with a cute playground and splash pad. Parking was available and a short walk from the park. The employees were all very nice and helpful. Booking was fast and easy, and there was no line up when we arrived for our scheduled time. The water park itself is a third the size of the one in Barrie yet they only charge $2 less. I'd say the price point is a bit high for what you get. Also, there were 4 life guards on the beach helping people register and get fitted for life jackets, which I think is too many considering the small number of participants. Once the participants were on the water park, the life guards on the beach occupied themselves with their cell phones, which doesn't look very professional. Perhaps this is something to keep in mind when thinking about cost savings. Overall, it was a good experience but we won't becoming back simply due to the small size...

A great place and fun activity for a certain age group...the floating course moves quite a bit when 30-40 people are on it .. took our grandkids and while the 10 year was quite comfortable the 6 year old wasn't...neither were we! Lol. It's very slippery and if you fall off, there are no straps/handles to help you get back on...just be prepared to slip and fall and surrender your dignity when trying to get back on. Lol. Like I said a great experience for certain age groups, wish we had had something like this when I was growing up. This Nana won't be going back...

Beautiful beach with an amazing water splash for almost all ages, provided that you wear a life best! There’s lifeguards on duty here and the location is easy to find. There’s an ice cream place and next to it is a store that sells patty, burgers, fries and sandwiches! There’s a walking/hiking trail and lots of benches to relax your sore muscles, (if ever) or just go for a swim. There’s a rental here as well for kayaks, canoes and stand up paddle boards. It’s in Orilla, Ontario just 12 minutes away from the Casino!! Yayyyyy!

I'm a regular at the park. I enjoy the walking and biking around the paved path. It's a nice paved flat path that's easy on my old body. When it's open, I indulge in an ice cream at the ice cream stand. On those days where it's really hot the beach is nice. It has a change area, a place to shower off the sand and these days they have a floating play area. Tudhope Park is very similar to the kurpurks found in German cities. Just as I liked roaming around them, I really like wandering around Tudhope Park.
