I know the last person who ran the lending library, Roger. I went in Tuesday to borrow a French horn so my Granddaughter could play it at my father, her great-grandfathers funeral. She is 8n the St. John, NB. Symphony since she was15. She was not allowed to carry her borrowed French horn on the plane with. They said it would have to be checked luggage. As even famous bands have had their equipment damaged in the cargo spot she didn't want to get it damaged. Thus, I renewed my membership and borrowed from the lending library the horn. It was brought to Toronto so she was still able to play at the funeral and leave hers at home. The people running now were friendly...

Recently, My son had an opportunity to attend 2 sessions at the Tett Centre - Poster Art - An Invitation to Play on August 11th and 13th. We were thrilled with the experience and received outstanding instruction from the organizer/artist Peggy Fussell. She was very encouraging and supportive to my son who is pursuing a career in graphic/media arts at St Lawrence College in the fall. Thanks for your patience and wonderful words of wisdom; my son really enjoyed it! Also, a special thanks to Nicole as well for giving my son feedback on his artwork - we look forward to future sessions at the Tett...

I like the centre no question. I had brunch there in the little cafe. I was outside close to the water and it is a beautiful view! (Beautiful view on a beautiful day!!!) The Cafe is nice, however I find it very expensive for what it is. Not alot of variety on the menu either. I realize costs are high especially with Covid (alot of price increases because food has become very expensive in itself). Alittle more variety on the menu would be nice to see. Also, options with more affordable prices should be...

The Tett Centre is a great place for bringing together the community, especially during challenging times (like the pandemic). I have taught 4 workshops there so far and am beyond grateful for the support and flexibility of the staff members. The Tett staff have been great with providing me with all of the information needed to hold workshops that follow public health guidelines, and making the classes an enjoyable experience for everyone in attendance. Can't wait to teach more classes in the future!

After matching with Cindy (French Canadian) on Tinder, I noticed her profile said she wasn't a drinker. This is a big turn off for me, and it left me scratching my head on where to take her. Thankfully, I found a $32 groupon for an introduction to pottery class. The hookup was a success, and I kept the ashtray she made me.

Glad to have been a guest to the First Annual Kingston Botanical Market, held here a the Tett Center. Was able to acquire a rare find to add to the houseplant collection, Philodendron Florida Beauty.
