I know the last person who ran the lending library, Roger. I went in Tuesday to borrow a French horn so my Granddaughter could play it at my father, her great-grandfathers funeral. She is 8n the St. John, NB. Symphony since she was15. She was not allowed to carry her borrowed French horn on the plane with. They said it would have to be checked luggage. As even famous bands have had their equipment damaged in the cargo spot she didn't want to get it damaged. Thus, I renewed my membership and borrowed from the lending library the horn. Read moreRecently, My son had an opportunity to attend 2 sessions at the Tett Centre - Poster Art - An Invitation to Play on August 11th and 13th. We were thrilled with the experience and received outstanding instruction from the organizer/artist Peggy Fussell. She was very encouraging and supportive to my son who is pursuing a career in graphic/media arts at St Lawrence College in the fall. Read moreI like the centre no question. I had brunch there in the little cafe. I was outside close to the water and it is a beautiful view! (Beautiful view on a beautiful day!!!) The Cafe is nice, however I find it very expensive for what it is. Not alot of variety on the menu either. I realize costs are high especially with Covid (alot of price increases because food has become very expensive in itself). Alittle more variety on the menu would be nice to see.
