The Chocolate Shop — Attraction in Orangeville

UPDATE DEC. 27, 2024: For Christmas this year, the only gift that I wanted from my family in Orangeville was a box of assorted milk chocolates from The Chocolate Shop. I didn't just want it, I needed it! Wishes come true! I'm back home in Toronto thoroughly enjoying these delectable, incomparable chocolate treats. Even the Belgian chocolates that I'd tasted weren't as good as the ones from The Chocolate Shop. I'm loving my Vitamin CH!

UPDATE DEC. 29, 2023: For Christmas, I received another assorted box of delectable chocolates from this great store. This is one of my absolutely favourite Christmas traditions - getting these great chocolates from my family members who live in Orangeville. Love it!

UPDATE FEB. 21, 2023: Valentine's Day was even better after being treated to a box of assorted chocolates from The Chocolate Shop! I've been very careful to spread out enjoying them over as many days as possible but will run out of the chocolates soon which is a sad thought. If I keep asking that another Chocolate Shop store open up in Toronto, maybe they will do so? Hope so! That would be so convenient for me.

UPDATE: BEST chocolates! It's impossible for me to believe that any chocolate made anywhere else in the world could be any better than the delicious handmade chocolates made in this Chocolate Shop! I delight in even looking at the chocolates in the lovely box (what a great gift for anyone!) and each one that I eat becomes my new favourite. These store owners are chocolate geniuses. Big five star recommendation from this delighted customer! Please open a store in Toronto near where I live.

PREVIOUSLY: Best chocolate anywhere! I live in Toronto but my son-in-law buys me a box of assorted chocolates from The Chocolate Shop every year for Christmas and for my birthday. What a wonderful treat that I really look forward to receiving. So delicious! The variety of beautiful chocolate treats is amazing and so mouth-watering.

My son-in-law even buys multiple boxes for his clients to enjoy at Christmas, too. He knows how much everyone loves these chocolates.

It was so great to see Master Chocolatier, Barbara, in today, along with Melissa at The Chocolate Shop, right in Downtown Orangeville!

I had an insatiable craving for artisanal chocolate truffles (preferably sans preservatives). I thought about heading to some favourite spots in the City, like Soma on King/the Distillery or Teuscher on Bloor but do I really want to fight traffic and pay for parking on this rainy day? Nope. Then I thought, I haven’t been to our amazing Chocolate Shop, on Broadway for a while and I love their chocolate. Barbara’s chocolates check all of the boxes when you want to splurge a little. She’s still so passionate about her product and quality after almost two decades of being in the biz. Her prices are actually very fair because of the premium ingredients she uses. I picked up a box of 12 assorted truffles that Melissa kindly helped me navigate through, a bag of Milk Chocolate Almond Bark and THE BEST peanut butter cup I’ve ever had. Ordered Valentines early over the phone. Barb asked a few questions to find out what my wife liked. Called me three days before to tell m she would drop it off at my work as it was on her way home and I hadn’t even pay for it yet. Came in a lovely gift wrapped box with a bow. Come Valentine’s Day I was an absolutely hero!! Many many great treats. Chocolate was amazing!!! I can only rate a five but worthy of a ten. Great store made products, fudge, caramel/choc.
