Hintonburg Park is a delightful, medium sized, neighbourhood park close to downtown Ottawa. It is surrounded by a tall solid brick fence. This is a nice feature in that you don't need to worry about the kids leaving the park. They are easy to contain at this park. There are two play structures; one for ages five to twelve and one for ages two to five. There are picnic benches in a tree covered area and a small but big enough splash pad for the kids on a hot day. Also a decent sized field for soccer or football. A cute park! Couldn't ask for much more in the middle of the city. Maybe a washroom and a water fountain?...
