I've visited Scotiabank Theatre a few times now and here’s a breakdown of what the theatre: Location and Parking: Scotiabank Theatre is conveniently located with ample parking space, making it easy to access. Typically you will not have trouble getting a space. The theater is also close to several restaurants and other venues. Facility and Ambiance: The theater itself has undergone modernization in the actual showing areas but the outside of the building is beginning to show its age. The lobby is spacious and clean with an arcade. The staff at the concession stand were about average and the lines moved smoothly. Tickets on site are handled by a series of self serve kiosks. Seating and Comfort: The seats at Scotiabank Theatre are modern, with ample legroom and good cushioning. Reclining seats were present. Screen and Sound Quality: The screen was large and clear. The sound quality was superb. Concessions: What you would expect. Cleanliness: On each of my visits the theatre has been clean. The exterior of the theatre could use some cleaning and paint.

Overall rewiew. 1. Seats are regular size no arm rest can be lifted but comparable to vip forum or imax 2. For a big man like @Francois Wilhelmy the seats or even handicapped ones which can be arm rest lifted weren't suitable for him 3. Insane immersion. BEST movie experience since my govee in my living room or imax 3d for thunderbolts 4. Sents , wind and mist was amazing. Mist was not over the top but you felt it during rainy scenes 5. Motion cant be regulated so it was 100% or nothing. 4dx is programmed by the director so you feel what he wanted you to feel 6. Sound and picture is same as forum vip Montreal

I was so very pleased with the customer service given by Sydney T at Scotiabank theater last night/today. We saw speak no evil last night and sadly the ending got turned off and none of us got to know what actually happened. She told us all to come back the next day and state that she authorized us all to be refunded. I went today only to realize I accidentally threw out my physical tickets and she offered courtesy tickets instead! Great manager, great service, and a super kind demeanor.

CLEANLINESS: (2 Stars) This theater was terrible. We went to the 5pm Avengers showing. First thing we noticed was how dirty the theater was. Popcorn mashed into the floors and just overall outdated. A bit surprising the lack of updates considering the price of a movie and the amount of money they are making. Now I know why we were able to get seats for 8 during the most popular movie while other theaters in the city were sold out. There were still empty seats throughout the movie!

Bigger garbage cans are needed at the exit of the theater after the movie because they fill up too fast. It encourages people to leave the garbage for the staff to cleanup when clearly they are needed for the popcorn spillage all over the floors in the main hallways. I took my garbage to another less full can, but others did not do the same.

BATHROOM ISSUES: Parents BEWARE, the bathroom taps only give HOT water, literally burning my daughter's and neice's hands. NOT kid friendly, and the temperature is NOT adjustable to make it cooler - this is absolutely crazy!!! Overall the cleanliness was pretty good considering the amount of people in there.

SEATING: We thought this theater would have the "good" reclining chairs (OMG not even close!), only to find out they are the blue ones where everyone is cramped so tight your chair gets bumped when someone walks through. You have to do this weird balancing trick in your recliner to your liking and there is NO locking switch. Someone told me these are their "NEWER" seating - I can't even believe that! You have to stand up to let others pass through. If you enjoy crinkling noises literally right next to your ear from the person behind you eating popcorn, this theater is for you. These people are on top of you. There is also a good chance you will get kicked in the head from the person sitting behind you. It's not a comfortable feeling while trying to enjoy a movie knowing that you could get accidentally bumped again. We enjoyed the movie very much, and the seating was surprisingly tolerable during the 3 hour movie. Our kids on the other hand were a bit restless and wanting to stand to stretch but couldn't do so otherwise upsetting others behind us.

STAFF: We stood in line to get popcorn and drinks. We were behind another couple who just got served. As we waited we noticed the staff member wouldn't make eye contact with us after serving the people in front of us, which was fine at first, until he completely disappear for quite time. We waited and he never came back, so we stood in the next smaller line...eventually a man behind the counter said, "sorry guys, I was told to shut it down." We had to move to the next line, where we were literally the LAST customers to get served. By this time we were worried about missing the beginning of the movie. But thankfully, the commercials were so long, we made it just in time, and our group was wondering what the heck happened to us because we were gone so long. This theater is Maddening!!! We will never be back. Sticking to the Lanmark theater in Kanata. You can't get any better than that, and worth the extra little bit of money...

šŸŒŸšŸŽāœØ A Night of Pure Cinematic Delight! āœØšŸŽ„šŸæ

I recently had the pleasure of stepping into a whole new world of movie-watching bliss at the Theatre, and let me tell you, it was an experience like no other! From the moment I entered the theater, I was greeted with an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation that instantly made me feel alive. šŸ°šŸŒŸ

First and foremost, let's talk about the seats! Oh, the seats! They were like sinking into a cloud of luxury. šŸŖšŸ’ŗ From their plush cushions to their adjustable reclining feature, I found myself completely immersed in a cocoon of relaxation. I could lean back, stretch my legs, and truly unwind while enjoying the movie. It was like being in my own personal oasis of cinematic pleasure! šŸŽ¬šŸŒˆ

But the luxury didn't stop there. The theater itself was designed with the utmost attention to detail, creating an inviting ambiance. Soft lighting, tasteful decor, and a soothing color scheme all contributed to the overall sense of immersion. It was as if the world outside ceased to exist, and all that mattered was the captivating story unfolding on the screen. šŸŒŒšŸŽžļø

Now, let's talk about the concessions. The Theatre truly understands the importance of a well-stocked snack bar. From the classic popcorn and candy to gourmet treats and refreshing beverages, there was a wide array of options to satisfy any craving. I indulged in a delectable combo of buttery popcorn and a perfectly chilled soda, and it elevated my movie-watching experience to a whole new level of enjoyment! šŸæšŸ„¤šŸ«

Lastly, the staff at the Theatre deserves a standing ovation. Their friendly and attentive service made me feel like a VIP from the moment I walked through the doors. They were knowledgeable about the movie selection, ready to assist with any request, and always had a smile on their faces. It's clear that they genuinely care about providing an exceptional experience for every guest. šŸ‘šŸŽšŸŽ‰

In conclusion, my visit to the Theatre was an absolute delight. It's a haven where luxury and cinema merge, creating an unforgettable movie-watching experience. If you're looking to escape the outside world and immerse yourself in a world of cinematic magic, look no further than the Theatre. Trust me, you won't be...

Last Saturday we decided to go see the conjuring, I haven’t been to a movie theatre in a very long time, there was this person that kept sniffing with their nose very loud every 5 sec and the person with him kept talking, and he was talking very loudly, he sounded sick with a cold, long story short some big person went to go report me just because I suggested that they should maybe go blow their nose, so the manager, she comes up to me and says the person has Tourette’s, I said OK but we all found it weird why would someone bring someone in the theatre that has Tourette’s, I said, but there’s talking also from over there and then she start to grit her teeth at me saying she can’t stop someone that has Tourette’s, a little bit more she look like she was going to bite me in the face with her teeth, anyways the movie theatre sucked when you sit down there’s a bar in front of you that you can’t see the bottom of the screen there’s full of bugs flying around, and we found it weird how my husband and I bought a can of beer, but they had to open it up right away, probably not to make noise in the theater, but yet someone’s allowed to bring someone in there that has Tourette’s, couldn’t hear no movie whatsoever, thought to go to movie theatres since not many people are going anymore since everybody got these options at home, but going to the theatre like that maybe they should just close down theaters, I just don’t get it at the beginning of Their commercials, they say, please be quiet. No one likes a talker. No one likes people with cell phones on, but yet someone brings somebody in there that has Tourette’s, it’s like someone bringing a radio in the library and blasting it. It just doesn’t make sense. And I had looked this up and many people don’t understand why either people bring someone that has Tourette’s, But other theatres have special rooms for them, so maybe they should start doing that because we pay expensive enough and when you can’t hear a movie, it’s not good, and having teeth gritted at me and almost lifting up her fist at me ,They should really hire someone that has patience not anger issues, The movie didn’t scare me. It’s them teeth that came at me...
