If u can believe it the Stewart park festival doesn't allow pets there. I have never been to a festival where a dog couldn't go with u. This town really doesn't like doggos I think. The park is ok.....nothing great here. Rib fest runs the same time as this festival in Smith Falls. I suggest u go there, better food too. The most uncomfortable part was the 5 police officers standing right there as u entered, very uncomfortable for me, most of the people there were over 80. Anyway, they were protecting us I guess, from what IDK. I think it was cause alot of people were coming and going from in and out of town and cause it was a Perth thing but it was interesting. Maybe they were there to protect the workers and performers, although none of them were famous. I think it's a Perth thing, they...

I have been to this park a number of times, and enjoyed the experience every time. It's pretty big, with mature trees and quite a bit of shade. It's close to the Perth downtown area, and which also makes for an enjoyable stroll down its decorated sidewalks lined with traditional buildings and scores of exotic stores. But what takes the cake is the Tay Rapids in the middle of the park, and the constant murmuring of which is calming and relaxing. Two beautiful bridges over the water-body add to the overall ambience of the park. The restroom facilities on one side of the park, across a narrow street, are quite adequate. The only downside of this park is the dearth of parking, that gets a bit dicey on weekends. Overall, a visit to this park is highly...

Oh the magic of Stewart Park. Every year if not twice a year we travel over three hours to visit Perth Ontario and this park holds a special place in our lives. Every hour of the day offers a different sense of life and activity with in the park with people milling about enjoying the park, commuting through it and simply having fun at the waters edge. This is something that you have got to experience, the launch of frisbee or your camera – or all of the above! For the ultimate experience book the room at the Perth best Western Parkside inn, The continental breakfast overlooks the park and you can sit on the patio and it is priceless!
