Read moreI went to this park with a friend on Sunday (Oct 27, 2024) and we enjoyed a quiet walk around the grounds. The park wasn't very big, but it was fine for us as it was a chilly day. Most of the trees had already changed colours and lost a lot of their leaves, but the views were still beautiful. My only complaint was that you had to watch your step as there were bird droppings everywhere (Canada Geese)! There was a nice bridge and docks where boats were moored. There was also a playground for the kids which we did not check out. The Whiskey and Walleye restaurant was temporarily closed, probably for the off-season months. Although we didn't stay until it was dark, I'm thinking that this park would be a good place to watch the sun set. Port Colborne is a quaint, old town which we likened to Upstate New York. Read moreIt's the most beautiful park in the Region, right on the lake, you have a beatuiful view in every direction, the marina is right there, boat launch too, lots to see and do. Took my kids there when they were little, almost every night. They have pavilions, a really fun playground, awesome splash pad, lots of seating, beautiful trees, it is always well kept. It's a great place to go fishing or for a walk, there is a cool bridge and paved sidewalks all around there. Lots of parking and a cute little food/icecream shack, with mini golf. There is often something going on there like festivals, kit flying or car shows in the summer. In the winter it is also beatuiful and the kids love to go sledding there on the big hills, it's a...
