Love the history, another place Jacques Cartier stayed in the 1530's. I went there because of the historical aspect but a very nice park in its own right. It gives you a sense of what the area around Quebec was like in the past. Not far from the city centre and lots of area to walk around in, to stretch your legs. Very close to the railway bridge also, another site worth seeing. There's an observation tower down by...

Ce parc a été inauguré en 1999 Grâce au soutien de la Ville de Cap-Rouge 🏞 .

et bien sur , avec l’aide de l’Agence nationale de préservation du patrimoine du Canada . et de la Compagnie des chemins de fer nationaux du Canada le Canadian National

a Historic Park With Remains and Footprints of Settlers in Quebec . Since 1541-43.

Offers Excellent Wilderness Trails , as Well Others developed and adapted for cyclists ,With a Nice Cycle Path and Parking .

A picnic area, public washrooms, as well as information panels and historical signage, are at your disposal.

This park was inaugurated in 1999.

Not a very big trail but amazingly well kept and organized. Some trails are extremely difficult, while others are paved and flat, all of which you can't tell from the map. Still an enjoyable walk...or...
