It is a very historic site being one of the first human developments in Canada, however, disappointing to see the condition of it, and just the location of being under a highway bridge. As well issue was not having parking in the area. Overall it is still nice to see, even tho it isn’t much. The logs are under the water so mainly see the tips of them. One of my favourite places in Orillia. This tranquil spot deserves some love. I like to look at the amazingly clear water and imagine what this spot was like long before the bridge was built over top of it. The stone walkway needs to be fixed though as there is a tripping hazard at the bridge. Not re-done, just fixed because the ground under it has eroded on either side of the...

(Read entire review) If you are expecting something spectacular don't get your hopes up. It is a couple of logs in the water. Under a busy bridge, with bird poop everywhere. But if you have a imagination this place can bring you back to 1615 in a time where this was a meeting place. Before the time of busy bridges...

One of my favourite places in Orillia. This tranquil spot deserves some love. I like to look at the amazingly clear water and imagine what this spot was like long before the bridge was built over top of it. The stone walkway needs to be fixed though as there is a tripping hazard at the bridge. Not re-done, just fixed because the ground under it has eroded on either side of the foot bridge.
