🌟 Macu Tea was my go-to bubble tea spot in Vancouver, and I’m so hyped they’re finally in Toronto! 🎉 They’re doing a soft launch until March 1st (heads up: grape and mango series aren’t ready yet, but soon 🤞). I tried the **Chi-Chi Strawberry Smoothie** 🍓—a fruity dream with green tea jelly and their signature "Chi-chi" salty cheese foam. Obsessed with the sweet-and-savory combo—the foam is just the right mix of salty, creamy, and sweet! Also grabbed the **Matcha Tiramisu** 🍵—creamy matcha smoothie topped with a caramel-ish tiramisu layer. It gave me cozy winter vibes ☕❄️ (perfect for Toronto weather!). Shoutout to the staff—super friendly and patient explaining all the drinks and recommendations. Can’t wait to come back for the grape and mango series! 🍇🥭 If you’re nearby, drop in and thank me later. 😉

I found that the drinks did not meet my expectations, especially given that they are advertised as having the best fruit tea in Taiwan. I tried their signature drinks: the Tiramisu Strawberry Smoothie and the Sunshine Lili Tea. The Tiramisu Strawberry Smoothie was a bit odd for me. The strawberry smoothie had a mix of sour and sweet flavors, while the cream and Oreo topping were excessively sweet. These contrasting flavors did not blend well, resulting in an odd taste. Additionally, the smoothie was a bit too icy. In contrast, the Sunshine Lili Tea was enjoyable; it was clear that the fruit was fresh and full of flavor. Overall, I would say the drinks are somewhat overpriced given their quality. On a positive note, the service at the establishment was good, and I received a warm welcome.

MACU TEA’s Richmond Hill location is a game-changer for fruit tea lovers. Tried all three new drinks during their soft opening, and each one is a masterpiece: ✅Sunshine Li-Li Tea: Bursting with fresh orange pulp and passionfruit seeds. The jasmine tea base is refreshingly light—perfect for summer. ✅Chi Chi Strawberry: Next-level cheese foam paired with chunky strawberry smoothie . The tea jelly adds a fun twist! ✅Matcha Tiramisu: A dessert in a cup! The tiramisu cream cap with Oreo crumbs + matcha latte combo is pure genius. Pro tips: Ask for 30% sugar, add toppings like boba Don’t miss their Grand Opening from March 1-3 with a BOGO deal. Trust me, that lineup? It’s there for a reason. 🏃♀️💨

I’m writing to share my appreciation for the consistently excellent experiences I’ve had at MACU Tea. The quality of your drinks and ice cream is outstanding, and your team’s professionalism and warmth make each visit a pleasure.

Your beverages are remarkably well balanced—fragrant teas with clean, true-to-leaf flavors, thoughtfully adjusted sweetness, and perfectly chewy toppings. The textures are spot on every time, from the creaminess of milk teas to the refreshing clarity of fruit blends. The ice cream is equally impressive: smooth, rich, and full of authentic flavor without being overly sweet. It’s clear that care goes into both ingredients and technique.

Just as noteworthy is the conduct of your employees. Whether the store is calm or busy, they greet customers with genuine friendliness, offer patient recommendations, and confirm preferences to ensure orders are just right. I’ve seen staff keep the line moving efficiently while maintaining great attention to detail, and they keep the store tidy and welcoming. Their attitude reflects pride in their work and respect for your customers.

Please extend my thanks to the entire team. MACU Tea has become my go-to spot not only because of the delicious drinks and ice cream, but also because your staff make every visit feel valued. Keep up the excellent work—you’ve earned a...

I visited this bubble tea shop around lunchtime, with about 5–6 customers and the same number of staff. The cashier was friendly and polite, which I appreciated.

While waiting, I noticed one staff member with short hair who didn’t seem to be working and kept interrupting others. She looked impatient and quite mean — though I can only assume, maybe she was the reason for the tense atmosphere and low team morale.

Despite several drinks being ready on the counter, no numbers were called. After waiting 15 minutes, I approached the counter and finally got my drink — and when I left, they still hadn’t called out any numbers.

I ordered less ice and 30% sugar, but the drink was very bland, almost like water, with no sweetness or mango flavor. Maybe I should’ve gone with 50% or 70% sugar.

I hope the service and quality can improve, as my experience was less smooth...

New boba spot and I know I have to try.

The tea flavour is really nice. Smooth and nice strong tie guan yin flavour. Mine was mixed with oolong which is kinda unique as I haven’t see that before.

Sever drinks that I haven’t seen elsewhere and I just have to come back and check them out.

The service taking orders was quick. Waiting for it was different. Went last Sunday afternoon and it was just drink being made after drink being made and about a 20min wait. Would see if weekdays have better luck. Good thing is, no one was just standing around. Everyone was working hard to fulfill orders

Parking lot is a killer. It’s in an old plaza and spots get filled up quickly. Lots of people just go with another person who sits in the car and waits if it is something that is quick. The plaza has decent amount of spots, but quite a few food spots so can get...
