Museum space of the Globensky Manor Explore Saint-Eustache's past through the exhibits presented at the Globensky Manor Museum Space. Built in 1861 for Seigneur Charles-Auguste-Maximilien Globensky, the Globensky Manor Museum Space (EMMG) is today a museum institution whose mission is to preserve, showcase, interpret, and study the Globensky Estate, composed of a seigneurial manor and landscaped grounds. In doing so, the EMMG aims to share the history of this listed heritage site and its place in the history of Saint-Eustache and that of Quebec. To achieve this, the EMMG relies, among other things, on exhibitions, museum education programming, and the interpretation of the former seigneury of Rivière-du-Chêne, of which the Vieux-Saint-Eustache heritage district is a part and of which the Globensky Estate represents the gateway. Globensky Manor was built between 1861 and 1865 for Lord Charles-Auguste-Maximilien Globensky. The plans for the manor were drawn up by Henri-Maurice Perrault, one of the most prominent architects of his generation.
