Mouat Park and Disc Golf — Attraction in Salt Spring Island Electoral Area

The park is really nice, we went here to play a round of disk golf and really enjoyed the course. However, this park is also littered with dog feces thanks to irresponsible dog owners. Stepped in dog poop twice even after constantly having to watch where I stepped. This is also an off-leash dog park and when we were there a larger dog attacked another smaller dog. The park is well maintained and generally busy. People can take their dogs (or friends/family) out for a walk, you can play disc golf or even both. There are readily available bags for dog owners and the accompanying bins to put the bags in afterwards. The disc golf area is well laid out and pretty clearly labeled. When you've done the course a couple times, it becomes quite easy to follow the signs. Next to the park is also a very nice small bike park. Seems awesome to take your kid...

Nice well shaded short 18 hole disc course. All straight treed fairways, with very creative hanging tonal placements. The tee pads have rocks arrows pointing you in the right direction, and most holes have arrows pointing to the next hole.
