A good place to relax on the St. Clair river. You will get a clear view of the United States across the river, and can see the Bluewater Bridge from here. The park has a nice pathway to follow along the water whether you're walking, biking, or rollerblading. The park is lit up around the winter holidays with "the festival of lights." A good place to visit for any tourist or newcomer, Centennial Park provides ample room for exploring, however it is not as big as Canatara Park (which is Sarnia's largest park, and boarders the lake and has a traditional sandy beach). In the winter there's celebration of lights, and in the summer there's boats.. all year round there's fishing (many ice fish here too as well!) As a photographer Ive done many sessions here, one of the best bike or longboard paths, beautiful flowers/foliage all year round. Even has a natural habitat trail behind the marina.. The only negative thing I can say is sometimes there is homeless or drug addicts in the vicinity because of the location... there is a free needle exchange right next door.
