My husband, daughter and I wanted to find some food after a day at the beach with our doggy! He’s a rescue from Detroit, he was severely neglected (in Detroit) and is very elderly, so we try to bring him on as many positive adventures as possible (events that are positive for him!) sometimes we are not welcomed on patios (which is totally fine! This is up to individual employers and business’) But at Big Family Brewing We were greeted with an overwhelming amount of love and service. The staff came out to pet and love our baby boy Mr. magoo. They brought him water in a bowl multiple times to freshen it up and treats and loved on him. The pizza was amazing! My husband got a home brew from them…I forget the name but it was delicious. We came home to our home in Windsor and ate the rest of the pizza. Our service, food and drinks were all fantastic. I totally forgot to buy their dog treats until we were almost near Windsor. We will definitely be back!!! Thank you so much Big...

This place was nice and it was right by the marina/lake which made a winning combination.

The staff seemed pleasant although they seemed unsure of the offer of the day etc. There was a brewery on site that was pretty impressive but i didn’t see or hear of any patrons near us that ordered the “brewery specific beer” to peak my interest in trying it.

The food was pretty good and they allowed dogs in the outside picnic table area which was cool but became problematic when the dogs started growling and barking at each other. It was not the relaxing vibe I was looking for.

The pricing was pretty good and consistent with other restaurants in the area. The only downfall of this place was that you had to walk to the building to pay as they’re wifi or the signal for their debit machines wasn’t strong enough to accompany the likely potential 50 + potential patrons they were able to seat.

Not a bad stop if you are in the...

Came for some drinks and was blown away by beer and drink selection. My husband tried many different types with their flight options and was not disappointed. Each beer has its own distinct flavour and tasted so good on tap. We actually really liked that the alcohol percentage is not crazy high for most of the drinks so you can come for a drink or two after work and still safely drive home. The food menu and the eclectic food choices were my highlight. The duck bao buns and fries hat I had for myself were to die for. If you want to elevate your fries, do yourself a favour and ask for the curry ketchup. It will not disappoint. My husband had the Portuguese shrimp and raved about it as well. Dog friendly, kid/baby friendly and the staff were great, friendly, prompted with orders and checking in on drinks. This is going to be our new regular spot to come and enjoy a good meal, beer and time...

Our dinner at Big Family Brewing Company was a bit of a mixed bag so to speak. The covered patio is wonderful and features nice views on a good night and the service was adequate. The Sweet Nantucket was a great beer and the Korean BBQ Chicken Skewers tasted good. The portion sizes were a bit on the small side however, and the Pickerel was mushy rather than firm. The fish was also on the flavourless side. What was really surprising was how small the portion of fries with the Broasted Pickerel meal was though. We ordered a side of fries ($6) which we ended up sharing because that meals portion of fries was so small. Overall the atmosphere was great, I just wish the food lived up to the atmosphere.
