Awesome activity for a group! We took our kids & cousins (ages 8-19) ziplining and everyone had an absolute blast.
Booking & Logistics: The online booking system was fantastic - simple, clear, and we could book, pay, and sign all forms online. We were able to book the day before for a mid-week slot with plenty of options available. Everything you need to know about timing and restrictions is clearly laid out on their website.
The Setting: The facility is beautifully tucked into the trees on the way into Cypress Hills Resort -a quick and lovely 5-minute walk from the Resport, with clear parking. What I noticed off the hop was how thoughtfully designed everything is. The structures blend into the surrounding forest, the zipline and platforms just kind of disappear. In a place as beautiful as Cyrpress, it's really nice that this man made activity centre isn't an eyesore.
The Staff & Organization: Check-in and getting geared up was incredibly well-organized and staffed. The guides were absolute professionals - we had one 8-year-old who was definitely nervous, and they did a killer job distracting and reassuring her. Their expertise got her through that first run, and after that she was golden! They adapted perfectly to our wide age range, treating everyone appropriately.
The Experience: We went at 10:30 before it got too hot, which was perfect timing. The kids noted that you get plenty of shade on the platforms and spend so little time standing around (mostly zipping!) that you stay comfortable throughout. There's a beautiful walking path through the trees directly under the ziplines, so non-participants can follow along for at least the first two runs.
Facilities: Washrooms available, shaded seating areas, and you don't need to bring anything - they provide all the gear. Just be prepared to independently climb a long ladder to reach the platforms.
The kids all came off that last run absolutely thrilled, saying it was "amazing" and "so, so worth it." The staff were just fantastic, the setting is breathtaking, and the whole operation runs like clockwork. Highly recommend for families looking for an unforgettable adventure!
Note: Other activities like mini zipline and climbing wall are available for additional cost - all clearly explained on...
Read moreCypress Hills Eco-Adventures is located in beautiful and scenic Cypress Hills Inter-provincial park which makes the zip line tour a real adventure. The tour guides and front staff are very polite, friendly and customer service oriented. We found them very supportive, skilled and professional, too. We enjoyed it very much, particularly our kids (ages 11 and 12) enjoyed the unique experience and planning to go for zip-line tour in Elk Ridge next year. Overall, the zip-lining experience was full of fun, thrill, and learning, as well. As far as safety is concerned, we found the the safety arrangement satisfactory for all ages. As mentioned, this activity is pure adventure, but this activity involves physical activity in the form of climbing rope ladder, climbing on a wooden pole with steel hooks, and zip-lining at a height of almost 40-45 feet above the ground. Therefore, it is not recommend to people with height phobia, over weight people, and people with medical conditions. Please consider before you book.
Cypress Hills Eco-Adventures charges for the group photos at a rate of $8 per person which is not included in the cost of zip-line. The cost of Zip-line per person ranges from $75 to $85 depending on the booking time which is fairly expensive, so we strongly think it is unfair to charge for group photos separately. It should be included in the price of the...
Read moreThe ziplining adventure was an absolute blast! From start to finish, the entire experience was smooth, safe, and seriously fun. What really made it stand out were the guides—shoutout to the whole crew for being both professional and incredibly entertaining. They took the time to explain everything clearly, made safety a top priority, and still managed to keep the mood light and full of laughs. Whether it was cracking jokes, giving encouragement before each jump, or pointing out cool sights along the way, they knew exactly how to make everyone feel comfortable and excited.
The course itself was well-designed, with a great mix of heights, lengths, and scenery. It felt adventurous but never overwhelming. If you're even thinking about trying ziplining, I highly recommend this place—you’ll get a rush of adrenaline and walk away with great memories- maybe even see a deer smiling! Shout out to Joey and Paulson!
