President Murray Park — Attraction in Saskatoon

Upon approaching the the park you feel you are in a forest of spruce trees. Then your eye catches the park; looks like a true Spider man/Batman park, a circuit of climbing apparatus in which you do not have to touch the ground when moving from one the next climbing adventure. I guess it's kinda good that we name parks and such after people. That way we google them to see who they were and what they did. That's what I just did. President Murray founded the U of S. I suppose that's a pretty big deal and deserving of a park (and a high school, apparently). Maybe less utilitarian than "Munroe Ave Park" or something of the sort, but it keeps us in touch...

A unique park space in Saskatoon. Rows of towering conifers give the park a shady, muted, contemplative atmosphere. Lots of foot traffic from students and health care workers. Lots of activity in the summer including picnics, volleyball, and children playing!

This is my favourite park for bocce ball...
