Will NOT be going or ordering from this location ever again. The employees stand around chatting with each other instead of paying attention to customers, they're slow as cold molasses running up a hill in a January blizzard, they're not overly friendly, and they manage to mess up orders, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Regardless whether I go inside and order, order through courier services to be delivered to my home, or order for myself to go and pickup at a specific time, there's always something wrong. I am very unsure if they know how to do anything right!!!
Tonight I ordered through SkipTheDishes for pickup at 7:00 pm. I placed my order at 6:13 pm. I thought, great, I'll have time to get dressed for the snow, walk over by 6:50, and sit and wait for my food.
Arrive at 6:50 pm, only to have my order sitting on the counter, bagged and stapled. God only knows how long it had been sitting there. I know Fast food standard is to have food sitting in a chute or standing frame for 15 minutes (not bagged, if bagged, must be given to customer immediately). So this is completely unacceptable.
My food was ice cold. Skipthedishes cannot refund me, as it was a pickup and completely the restaurants fault. I do not blame them, as they had nothing to do with it, they just provided the platform so I could put in an order.
I am very disappointed in what is one of my favorite foods to eat. 22nd street is much better, they may be a bit slow in drive thru (because they can't park people), but their inside service is impeccable, and they're always super friendly and accurate!!!
This location (College Drive), has lost my business and ill spread the word so no students or anybody else I know gives them their...
Read moreThis evening, I experienced some of the most disappointing customer service I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing.
I went for a late supper with my roommates and two of us ordered poutines. They ran out of cheese curds for my order. Three things they did that definitely should not have happened were as follow:
They did not inform me that they ran out of cheese curds. They did not tell me that they couldn't make the order. Made the order using different cheese without telling me.
Did the employees just expect me not to find out? Were they hoping I would just accept the order as it was? Whatever the case it was unacceptable service and I can safely say that I will not be returning to this location if this is how the employees are handling the customer's orders.
I was given a refund for my order, but would have rather have gotten my order or been informed of them running out of product so I could order something else.
During the time I was there I also noticed that the employees were restocking new product on top of old instead of rotating. Which is a problem when you're in an establishment that offers nuts and dairy products as the potential cross contamination could get a customer sick.
Needless to say, my order was not dealt with properly. The product rotation is questionable at best.
All in all, I do not recommend visiting this Dairy...
Read moreI visited this Dairy Queen location recently, and my experience was extremely disappointing. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant left much to be desired. The dining area appeared unkempt, and it was evident that regular maintenance was not a priority.
What really stood out was the conduct of the server, Nicole. Not only did she seem to neglect proper food safety protocols—which raised concerns about the hygiene of the food—but she also rude towards the delivery drivers. Such unprofessional behavior in a food establishment is unacceptable and only added to the negative atmosphere.
Additionally, the state of the restroom was appalling. It was filthy and clearly not maintained to the basic standards expected in any restaurant. This only compounded my overall dissatisfaction with the visit.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location. The combination of poor cleanliness, questionable food safety practices, and unprofessional staff behavior has certainly diminished my trust in this...
