I want to start on a positive note: the staff and the owner at Biriyani House 786 Ltd are extremely accommodating. We had a last-minute order for three trays of chicken biriyani, and they went out of their way to make it happen, which we truly appreciate.

However, my overall experience was disappointing. First, the location is inconveniently situated inside another building. While I understand this is not the restaurant’s fault, better signage would be helpful, especially at night, to make it easier to find.

The main issue was with the food itself. We specifically ordered three trays of chicken biriyani for kids and requested that it be mild. What we received, however, was extremely spicy — so much so that even adults could barely tolerate it. This was incredibly frustrating, especially considering we spent over $150 plus tax on the order. We ended up having to leave most of the rice untouched and could only finish some of the chicken.

I want to emphasize that this is not our first time trying biriyani; we know the difference between mild, regular, and spicy. I would strongly suggest that the kitchen honor specific spice requests, or if unable to do so, inform customers at the start rather than preparing something completely unsuitable.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this incredible establishment, and I must say, it was an experience like no other! From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with such warm hospitality that instantly made us feel welcome. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met, offering impeccable service with genuine smiles and attentiveness that you just don’t find everywhere.

Excellent food. I ordered two combos: Ghee Rice | Roasted Chicken | Naan Roti | Dal Curry and Beef Biryani | Naan Roti | Potato Curry

Everything was good. The ghee rice was tender and pleasantly mild. I'm not sure if this rice normally has tomatoes but I asked for no tomatoes for this dish only. The chicken was nicely roasted and really good with the sauce on top. The dal was spicy, very flavorful, and hearty.

The beef biryani was excellent. Have not had biryani that good in a while. Delicious and well balanced spices. The potato curry was very rich and creamy, potatoes super soft but not mushy. The soup/sauce was perfectly not-split.

I got the Biryani with an extra side of raita which i prefer given the volume of rice. The raita had a nice amount of cucumbers in it and was decently thick. I would recommend especially if you would like to balance with the heat.

Both combos also came with small plain salads but i'm not sure if this is typical. One dish also came with a very fresh salsa/hot sauce. I'm not sure which dish it was meant to be paired with.
