Shooters Downstairs Lounge — Restaurant in Sault Ste. Marie

I recently turned 19 and my friends and I wanted to check out shooters cause we heard good things. The bartender immediately asks for ID, reasonably, as we are pretty young. I hand him my drivers license and he says “fake,” so I hand him my health card too. He compares all of our ID and claims they’re all fake. He went to cut all of my valid photo ID that I had given him in half, thankfully, my friend grabbed them before he had the chance.

I wouldn’t recommend this bar to anyone who’s on the younger side or appears young as this bartender doesn’t know what a real ID looks like and almost destroyed...

They have addicts living in the women’s restroom and all toilets were clogged and locks were broken I had an absolutely horrific experience walking into the women’s rest room to find a woman changing her stuff spread on every surface of the rest room clothes over the entire floor and every stall, makeup on the counter as well as drug paraphernalia and the woman was aggressive and said “that’s my stuff” when I stared in stunned silence i quickly exited the bathroom and was going to tell the bartender only to be told she was aware of it and was not going to take action in short it’s dirty a health...

We went on a Sunday night to do some karaoke and we had a blast. The atmosphere was great to sit and have a couple drinks while we ate a few appetizers from the bar kitchen. The evening was scheduled from 7pm to 11pm which is the perfect time slot for me to have a good time and not be too tired the next day. There were so many great singers and the music equipment was actually good so you can hear the singers. Not like at other bars where they have dollar store microphones you can barely hear the singer singing. I will definitely be back for another fun...
