We were very excited to rent a car to transport us to our wedding venue,  we would also use the car for our photos however with both clear written and verbal instructions in place the driver did not follow through. The driver showed up to our accommodations taking my in-laws to the venue and was instructed to come back and pick the bride up. He did not show up and when I called nixdorf they told me he was on his way back which was completely untrue. How he got lost when the accommodations and the venue were only 10 minutes apart completely blows my mind! I was an hour late for my wedding because I was told that he was coming back which was untrue and had to drive myself to my own wedding. I'm sure this doesn't happen often however I would make sure that you go over the details as many times as you feel comfortable in order that this doesn't happen to you. I had gone over this multiple times as I said in verbal and written instructions and was very disappointed with the outcome of my experience. Aside from this happening, I was confident leading up to the day as...

We recently visited this museum (The amount of classic cars they have on display has to be seen to be believed, plus there are several working jukeboxes so you can listen to your favorite music while you admire the cars)

The highlight of our trip here was renting a classic convertible for a wine tour. If you are thinking about taking a wine tour in the Okanagan, this is definitely the way to do it! Our driver, Wayne, was incredibly accommodating and made sure everyone was having a great time. He made us feel like royalty!

The wineries we visited were amazing, but the experience of riding in an antique car through the beautiful local scenery is something our family will be talking about for...

I got dragged into this museum with some friends on a road trip, one of whom was really into classic cars. He was adamant on going in, the others and I were not.

I'm so glad I actually visited!

The amount of classic cars restored here is unbelievable, at least 50. Each one beautiful, with a backstory and details. You can get a close-up look at each car too.

The proprietor showed us the workshop where they restored the cars too, that was pretty cool. Amazing to see the differences from before and after restoration.

Oh, and out of the group of friends I went with I had to be dragged out without spending as much time as I'd like...

We took a planned family visit here on Father’s Day and dad thoroughly enjoyed pointing out the many cars he knew and remembered from over the years. They are beautifully restored with descriptions. The juke box was fun and was and the host added a lot of additional information about the cars. Wish we had known they also rent them out before for some special occasions we have had. Something to keep in mind for the future! There are cars through all the eras but my fav’s have more chrome.

Highly recommend and worth the entry price - which goes to charity. The men who chatted with us were generous with their time and patient with our questions. They opened hoods to let us check out engines. They booked an appointment for us since we couldn’t come on a weekend and let us bring in our small well behaved dog. This is a real gem of a place - super for all car lovers. The jukebox that is free to play was my teen’s favourite part!

Highly recommended! Excellent display of restored automobiles with brief bullet notes on how they were acquired or interesting facts. I’m not a car aficionado but I loved the exhibit. Plus there’s a vintage jukebox you can play for free. And not to forget the mammoth tusks & teeth. The admission fee ($20 or $15 if 4 or more) goes to fund an accessible camp.❤️
