A&W Canada — Restaurant in Summerland

Take out only and of course there's no sign posted on the front door telling you that. So I ordered a sit-down breakfast and had to eat it off the hood of my truck. Every other restaurant and the province is open for dining but this one particular fast food joint can't get its act together. The zitface teenager told me it was because of corporate office unable to make a decision. The A&W in Kelowna, Penticton and everywhere else has indoor dining. Also I paid for extra sauce as well as hash browns and of course they managed to screw up the order. Well I go to this A&w once every 6 months and just like all the other times they've managed to get the order wrong or disappoint in one fashion or another. If I could give no stars I would. We pull up and ask for milkshakes and their machine is down, ok no big deal...we order, after paying we waited 10 mins which is crazy since there was no one ordering inside. The guy hands my food out the window without saying anything and as I drive away he quickly says have a nice day. When we opened the burgers they were clearly forgotten on the grill as the cheese around the burger was almost burnt and the burger was tough. Love Teen Burger normally but on recent order in Summerland, BC (after a fairly long wait, with two car waiting,) the burger was less than lukewarm. The onion rings were the most expensive part of menu and there were only 7 rings in half filled paper pocket. No napkins in bag, no ice in root beer. Yes Teen Burger was on $4.99 sale, but do not make them in advance and serve them cold. Not impressed - was looking forward to the A&W teen burger of the past. Huge disappointment.
