I can't believe how much beauty in this park there is to take in. Great area for biking, walking, jogging, running, rollerblading or just a leisurely stroll. The wildlife really make this area extra fun with the ducks, Blue Jays & squirrels that rather enjoy collecting the shelled peanuts visitors leave and pass out to them. Lots of garbage bins located along the trail, and there are doggie poop bags available as well and so far the public has been doing their part with helping to keep the park area clean. My husband & I always enjoy our walk through and enjoy taking time to relax at one of the sitting areas available to take in the view of the water and the fishing boats coming back from their days work. Deep holes where they either planted trees and they died or trees that were supposed to be planted and didn't get done. Garbage everywhere. Garbage cans overflowing. Clothing articles strewn from one end of the park to the other. Garbage in the ponds. If I were Heather Moyse, I'd want my name taken off the sign. This place is sad actually. The parking lot also seconds as a gravel and dirt depot. The parking lot is all scored from heavy trucks driving through. The city should be embarrassed.
