We love viewing historical places and museums are always on our list. The person working today (Susan) was not very friendly or welcoming and made us feel very uncomfortable while going through the main building. She had her dog at the door that snapped at my hand when I reached down to pet it. We paid $20 and when we wanted to tour the outbuildings, we were informed that she had to meet her family in the train station because lunch was ready. It was very unprofessional and as a result, we weren’t able to see any of the antiques in the other areas. We were therefore asked to leave. This was not a very good reflection on tourism in the Town of Three Hills. It’s too bad because the museum has an amazing collection of antiques and history from what we were able to see. We pulled up and seen it was closed but were greeted by a very generous lady who said we could go in, her and her mom were so kind to my family showing us around the museum teaching us a lot, we could had used another good hour there, they had so much to see.
