*Disappointing Experience with Hall Booking* I recently booked a hall for an event (for 70-100 guests), and unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations. I arranged the booking back in January for my kids' birthday party this month (March 3rd), but the outcome on the day of the event was highly disappointing. Upon our arrival, we were shocked to find the hall empty, with no chairs or tables. Despite the reception staff's efforts to locate our booking in their schedule, it was nowhere to be found, adding to our stress and confusion. This oversight significantly disrupted our plans for decoration, resulting in delays and preventing us from realizing our vision for the event. The disappointment was compounded by the fact that we had been eagerly anticipating this event for months. The added stress of discovering the oversight on the day of the event, after extensive party preparation, was truly disheartening and even brought me to tears. While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can happen, effective communication and accurate recording of bookings are crucial. I hope steps will be taken to improve the booking process to avoid similar disappointments in the future. I want to thank the people who assisted in getting the chairs and tables last Sunday. Their help lowered my stress level.

2023 April 3★ This community center has both a pool with a slide, a whirlpool tub, sauna, dual ice rinks, meeting rooms and a nearby tennis courts. Free recreational swimming is nice, though it does get busy. Capacity can be an issue during the summer and even holidays. You'd find that there's not enough space. It's recommended to stop by at other times. The water slide has two loops and is just off to the side of the pool. Next to it, life jackets for those in need. It would be nice if the showers had warm water rather than cold water with spurts of mildly warm water. Though it could be a good thing to keep people moving. Lockers are available. Bring your own lock. Free parking outside.

Awesome RC! Great location; kind & helpful staff; nice facility. They have a hot tub that holds upto 25ppl. Unfortunately, the water isn't very hot & you must be 14yrs+ to get in. My daughter is obsessed with the indoor water slide. The wading pool is great for toddlers. Water shoes are always a good choice for public facilities like this, I find. The party rooms are pretty good. Reasonable rates. Unfortunately, there is no audio connection, so make sure to bring a speaker, if you want to play music.

This place has EXTREMELY rude staff during leisure swim.

I've been going to a few different community centres for leisure swim to teach my wife how to swim. I tried this one for the first time this week. It was my worst experience by a long shot.

Every lifeguard was rude and condescending. I first approached one to kindly ask if we could use any of the flotation aids (noodles, kickboards, etc.), and she snapped and exclaimed "no!", shaking her head in indignation. The other community pools I've been to happily allowed us to use them, but I thought to myself "fine, maybe this centre has a different policy."

During our time there, the other few lifeguards circled the pool with little enthusiasm, occasionally blowing their whistles to call out kids who were possibly misbehaving. They would just blow their whistles and shake their heads, without clearly identifying who they were speaking with, let alone giving clear instruction or direction. I thought it interesting that they didn't call out the kids who were jumping into the pool in the shallow end, sometimes landing only about a couple of feet from where my wife or I was standing.

About 10 minutes before the "leisure swim" time was to end, a lifeguard finally found some vigor, loudly blowing his whistle and aggressively tell us that "leisure swim is over! Get out of the pool now!" His fellow lifeguards laughed heartily, their eagerness to leave the pool abundant and overflowing. Not even a minute after having made his announcement was he berating a few kids who were making their way to the corner of the pool to exit, saying "get out. You have to get out now."

I don't expect excellent customer service at a community centre, nor do I expect all staff to be friendly. However, I do expect lifeguards to be diligent and interested in properly doing their jobs, instead of ostensibly wanting to leave them as quickly...

WARNING!! WARNING!! WARNING!!

had a horrible experience yesterday which honestly makes me not want to go back, I went for leisure swim in the evening by the time I come back my locker didn't have the lock on and my phone and wallet was stolen. after cooling down by the time I got home I was able to paint a clearer picture of potential suspect and her associate. there was someone in the change room stall right in front of my locker and then there was an INDIAN WOMAN in a black and white stripe shirt, CURLY WAVY HAIR THAT WAS IN A MESSY BUN AND REDDISH LIPSTICK that was not dressed to swim by the shower area looking as if she was waiting for the lifeguard to open pool. there were not many people there yet for the evening swim in the womans change room, she smiled at me and when I went to turn the shower on she disappeared into the change room and I never saw her enter the pool deck. apart of me felt like I should have went to my locker but I never did! always trust your intuition, staff was not helpful at all!!!! but I bet if it was their stuff stolen they would bring down hell into that place! security guard honestly seemed useless and I did an online report to non-emergency police. YOU THIEF IF YOU'RE READING THIS, JUSTICE WILL BE UPON YOU AND YOUR ACCOMPLICES IN DUE TIME JUST YOU WAIT!!!!! TIMES ARE HARD FOR EVERYONE AND PEOPLE WORK SO HARD TO EARN THE MONEY THEY HAVE TO SUPPORT THEMSELVES AND THEIR FAMILY AND YOU SLITHER AROUND IN CHANGE ROOMS LOOKING FOR AN...

Wish I had read the reviews before going to this facility. This is not where we usually go for a swim, went here probably twice, and third time was a charm... NOT! We decided to put our things in the locker, which we came prepared and brought a lock with us. I told my husband that we should separate our lockers, so I have our baby's clothes and mine, and he had his and our son's stuff. This is in the family shower room. Little did we know that someone cut the lock in where I put my stuff in and took my bag, leaving my pants, jacket, and slippers. I panicked because my baby is getting cold. I reported to the staff that they assisted me in filing a report. But the staff were also aware of this theft going on in the locker area. They told me that the thieves just take what they want and leave the bag somewhere else and sure thing, we found my bag. Good thing the thief left my phone and wallet with my cards in the bag but took the money AND coins in my wallet. I was relieved when my cards were complete after checking, then grabbed my baby's dry clothes and changed her. Then there are 2 kids looking at us, I asked them if they are missing something, and indeed they are! Their grandmother's bag was also missing. So I told them that it might be placed inside one of the lockers and told the staff. And thank God, they found their bag too. And their money, stolen.. I hope they will do something about this theft in...
