Read moreThis park has lost some of its ruggedness and tranquility so can be quite busy, especially along Marine Parade, but does have stony beaches, logs for sitting on, and great views. There is a paved path which is great for accessibility, and a gravel path a bit closer to the waterfront. The bridge over the Humber River is one of my favourites. The trail leads to other parks and trails, and the bike path is popular because it is one of the best ways to commute downtown and the opposite end of the city. In winter you can see various birds, so if you like to take photos, you may need better lenses to snap a good photo. They also come close to the shore. There are also several skating rinks on frozen ponds. I even saw a skating trail!
