I visited this cafe for the first time and unfortunately experienced poor service. There were two employees at the front. One lady, who had a Slavic accent, took the order of the customer ahead of me and was preparing croissant sandwich. After the second one finished making the drink she began chatting with the first one who was working on the sandwich. Both were completely ignoring me as I waited. When I finally asked if the one who is free could take my order, they made an excuse and told me I “had to wait.” Without any apology, the first one with the croissant rudely asked what I wanted.
Later, when we opened an umbrella outside to shield ourselves from the sun, the same employee who rudely took an order rushed over, telling us not to break an umbrella instead of offering to help. When I pointed out that her approach to customer service was inappropriate and that she should be kind, she argued back, claiming I "yelled at her at the beginning," which is why she was rude to me now. She even remarked that it was her first time receiving such feedback from a customer, which left me shocked.
In the end, she abruptly said, “sorry but,” and I interrupted to say I accepted her apology. This behavior is simply unacceptable, and the service I received at this cafe was disappointing. I particularly found the attitude of the lady with red hair and light eye color, who seemed to dislike her job, to be negative and unwelcoming. I won’t be returning and cannot recommend this...

I've been going back here in the last few weeks and usually it's good. Today I received this "cappuccino". It was so bad I had to leave it behind. Sorry if I didn't maybe have the correct cappuccinos sitting on various cold, cool terraces in late August in Rome over many years. Obviously the Romans got it wrong and this one is actually a true cappuccino.

Terrible service. I waited over 15 minutes for a Turkish Coffee (one of my favourites!) and ended up walking out as they are severely understaffed.
I am new to the area and was really excited to explore the area. Sadly, after a couple of bad experiences at BB cafe, I won't be returning.
Two other times I asked about ice for their iced drinks and they didn't have it. A very lame excuse considering they have a freezer full of Gelato and Sorbet.
Tip: As someone who has owned their own catering business, do NOT include things on the menu that are consistently unavailable or take staff too long to prepare.
Tip #2: Employ more staff. I am a patient customer and want to give staff a chance, however, I fail to see why it should be your staff who take the blame for poor service. Employ more people. It's a popular spot.
Sadly, you have lost a customer for life. I will go elsewhere and would encourage other people to...

Great disappointment on service. I ordered a latte. I did not see anyone ordered before me. After my friend picked up her tea, I heard they called out for a latte. After I sipped on my latte, an employee (Manager or owner???) Came and asked what I had ordered. I told her I ordered a latte and she sternly said I picked up the wrong latte and told me to "MAKE SURE YOU PICK UP THE RIGHT ORDER". Her tone of voice was authoritative.
I apologized to the customer for picking up her latte but at the same time, I had never heard another latte being called to be picked up (the one I ordered for).
I am also wondering whether this is the right way to treat the customer who picked up the order by mistake.
The stern face and the tone of voice was like a teacher or the boss talking to a subordinate.
My friend was in restaurant business and immediately indicated to me that was unacceptable customer service.
Yes, I picked up the wrong order. But how you treat your customers determines how many customers will return. I will definitely not going back again.
A rare bad attitude in the...
