Horrible service at this so called luxury restaurant unfortunately. We waited couple minutes at the entrance to finally greeted by staff who were so not friendly and rude and then directed to a table.
Few minutes after we sat on one of the tables at the patio my girlfriend saw a rat wandering around and got very scared. She panicked and the waiter noticed and when we mentioned it he said it’s normal patio is an outdoor place and because it’s close to bushes it’s completely normal and he was like everyone knows there’s mouses here it’s usual in summer time. So he moved our table a bit farther hoping they will be no rats playing around. But sadly we saw few baby rats going around again so the whole time my girlfriend was stressed and staff didn’t care and acted as if this is very normal. I know patio is an outdoor space but is it normal having to fight the flies and push them away from our food with one hand and grabbing the food with the other hand?
It doesn’t end here, we order a pizza with our own toppings, my girlfriend emphasizes that she likes a very cheesy pizza so the waiter suggests to add extra premium cheese topping called Bocconcini which is very thick layer of cheese on the pizza along with the free mozzarella cheese that comes with it. HOWEVER, when our order arrives we see barely any cheese on the pizza literally a VERY THIN layer of cheese, to be honest a basic Domino’s pizza would definitely beat this pizza in terms of being cheesy and deliciousness.
So we call the waiter asking what the matter is since there’s close to no cheese on the pizza he says oh this is very normal because you guys chose pesto base sauce the cheese gets dried and absorbed by this sauce that’s why it is dry and no cheese we’re like what??? He is like yes the cheese is more visible on a tomato sauce base pizza. Seriously? Why can’t you admit that the chef did not put enough cheese??? I’ll be very honest, they did not put close to enough cheese for some reason!!! So we send the pizza back and chef puts some Mozzarella cheese as you can see on the pics and puts it back into the oven. But when the pizza came it lost its taste and all we could taste was thin overcooked pizza dough with mozzarella cheese. Unbelievable…
My girlfriend and i are very disappointed, we had different expectations from this place, staff, food, customer service and etc but we were wrong. Unfortunately the pizza they brought to us is not even comparable to pizza pizza or domino’s and etc. Such a bad decision deciding to visit this restaurant thinking it’s gonna be a special night.
Avoid this restaurant at all costs, don’t get fooled by the view or the location of the restaurant. It is totally not WORTH it. We regret it. I hope things get better at this restaurant. Will never come back.
Thanks...

I went here 7 months pregnant for my birthday lunch with a friend and my 2 year old. I am typically a calm and very accommodating person who rarely writes a bad review and gives people the benefit of the doubt. But this was a ridiculous experience.
My toddler has wheat and dairy sensitivities, so she cannot eat them. Eden Trattoria offers a gluten free pizza with mozzarella, but have no dairy free cheese alternatives. I tried to order the pizza with 3 toppings (chicken, olives and roasted red peppers) and tomato sauce across the whole GF pizza, and then some cheese on only half of it (so that my wheat free, dairy free toddler could have half of the pizza and I could eat the other half with some mozzarella.
The server had an extremely hard time understanding the order... to the point where I had to act it out for her with plates and cutlery and draw her a labeled picture on her notepad to show the kitchen. The server even came back to the table after placing the order and assured us the kitchen knew what to do and she'd be surprised if there's a mix up.
While we waited for the order they brought a basket of white bread baguette, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I asked if they had gluten free bread, a carrot stick or anything as an alternative for my wheat free, dairy free 2 year old. The server just said no flat out, offered no alternative and did not even ask the kitchen.
When the pizza order finally arrived, it had all ingredients across the entire pizza (cheese included) PLUS extra cheese on half... I would have almost laughed out loud except that at this point my 2 year old's eyes were tearing up and she was starving.
The server tried to ask for more clarification of what the order was so I asked to speak to a different server. They sent someone who appeared to be the manager and understood the order.
No accommodations or snacks were offered during our wait for a second pizza... They left my toddler for 30+ minutes at lunch time with no accommodation or snack to tide her over. I had also ordered a salad so that at least came and so my friend and I pulled together parts of our meals for my kid. But the greens were saturated with dressing and mostly soft.
When the second pizza did arrive it technically had toppings where they should be, but the cheese on half was thrown on top and uncooked...
At the end of the meal, they charged us for the full bill with no further apologies or accommodations. Truly incompetence all the way through from the server straight to the...
Read moreEDIT: I am adjusting my initial review to reflect my second experience. I am pleased to note how much better the service and the food were. In particular, the manager shared with me that the entire staff are being trained on proper allergy handling so what initially happened to me never happens again. This time, the manager pans separate wait staff handled my allergy and were very intentional about reassuring me while ensuring I never settled for a meal I didn’t want. He also assured me that they would be changing out the wine Marsala sauce following this feedback. It is clear that the manager is very involved and cares deeply about customers. He also really values feedback. I see now my first experience was most likely an unfortunate coincidence of several issues and look forward to returning again.
ORIGINAL: I had dinner here 2 weeks ago for the first time and it was the worst food experience/wait staff experience I’ve had in a while. It all started when I tried to order a pasta dish that had grilled chicken in it, and when I mentioned my allergy to shellfish the waitress said that they couldn’t accommodate my allergy with this dish since shrimp is cooked on the same grill. I asked if they could clean the grill, and she said they can’t. I also asked if they could make the chicken another way, and she responded with another no. She then redirected me to a baked chicken dish in wine marsala sauce. Again, not sure why this chicken could be baked and the other couldn’t but I digress. Upon first bite, I could tell something was off. The marsala sauce was very light in colour (off-white) and tasted insanely sweet. Like a dessert sauce with white chocolate. I just worked around it as best I could since the chicken itself was ok. When the waitress came to clear my plate, I let her know that the chef likely mixed up the sauces as this one was way too sweet and certainly a dessert sauce. I also specified I didn’t expect anything to be done, but wanted to alert them for the next customer. The way she responded still hasn’t sit well with me - she said “have you ever had a wine marsala sauce before?”. This felt condescending and should never be the response as it makes for a terrible customer experience and shows a lack of care. Overall, this restaurant does not accommodate for allergies and has a terrible approach to customer feedback and service. I’d advise dining elsewhere, and if you do have to go here, avoid the chicken with wine marsala...
