I went to Casa Boho today with my friends, and I have to say, I was starving. I ordered the salmon croissant, which was really tasty, but honestly, it felt a bit small for the price. I also got a cold brew, but unfortunately, it wasn’t my favorite, it was quite watery and lacked that rich coffee flavor I was hoping for. One thing I didn’t love was that the food came on disposable plates. Since we were eating there, it would’ve been nice to have proper plates and cutlery, I feel like it would have made the experience cozier. Also, the croissant could’ve really benefited from a small dip or side to make it feel more complete. The space itself is beautiful and in a great location, but it’s not really set up for hanging out with friends. It’s quite small, with tiny tables and not much room to feel comfortable if you’re staying for a while. That being said, the staff was super friendly and the service was excellent, definitely the highlight of my visit. I think with a few improvements, like bigger portions, better drink quality, and a cozier dine-in setup, this place could be amazing.

Disappointed by Sudden Pet Restriction I’ve been a regular visitor to #CafeBoho, often stopping by for lunch with my dog after walks. We’ve never had an issue—until today, when staff suddenly told us that dogs are no longer allowed. I was honestly very disappointed. While I understand that food regulations can sometimes restrict animals in dining areas, it’s usually expected that such rules are clearly communicated. There are no visible signs indicating that dogs aren’t allowed, nor have we ever been told this before—despite multiple visits. What’s frustrating is that this seems to be a new or suddenly enforced restriction without any notice. Especially in a neighborhood that’s becoming increasingly pet-friendly, it’s confusing and off-putting. Other nearby cafés have embraced this change in the community, so I don’t understand why #CafeBoho has decided to go the opposite direction. Unfortunately, due to this experience and lack of clarity or consistency, we won’t be returning. A little transparency and courtesy would’ve gone a long way.

We’ve already been twice to this cafe. Great drinks and food! Nice environment and friendly baristas. This cafe is perfect for our midpoint turn-around walk. They serviced us quick, and delicious drinks and food. I had the grilled chicken pesto panini for lunch, and it was so good it reminded me of my University days eating this at a Williams Cafe in Waterloo.(Not caught on camera is the amazing cheese pulls in every bite of the panini). This cafe is also great for working in, noticed people with laptops and working away. We live in the area, so we’re definitely coming back, especially with spring weather being back. Thank you for existing in our neighborhood! 😊
