Read moreOur day at The Canadian Open...golf...5 star...beauty of Oakdale Golf and CC...outstanding...total experience...well. Arriving at remote parking...no signs with directions anywhere...no parking lot number signs anywhere to be easily seen with directions..pre-purchase parking in Lot2...no lot 2 to be found...ask other parking lot attendants...nobody new of lot 2...only 5,6,7 which were not easily marked nor found.The lot employees were all poorly trained and had no communication skills whatsoever. After parking in lot 7 even tho I did not have that pass we proceeded to shuttles...all well...we got to the course..,never having been there before we worked out the group we wanted to see was on 10th hole...no problem...we asked a security guard for directions...it seems the standard answer for the day was"ummm dont know"..we flagged down a ESPN camera guy in a cart who gave us perfect directions. We followed Rory for some holes..great experience...he was smiley,appreciative touched knuckles with fans.,,he was clearly a fan favourite.We decided to get a drink before we had to find the concert stage which had no easy signage for..prices...gouging...Dasani Water..$7.00, Nester Ice Tea..same.,,beer..$12.00....NEWSFLASH...lower prices equals more volume sales equals more profit. Well...one last minute bathroom run before concert..,disgusting...paper poop all the way to to top of the hole...pee all over seat and floor...no water at wash basins to wash hands. Overall..after attending about 6 PGA events..prettiest...

The tennis courts were well maintained, I shot around with a tennis pro named Maria. They have a beautiful pro shop on the grounds where I purchased a Nike tennis skirt for my day on the court.
The pool was really busy however it was a weekend and it was really nice to see families outside enjoying the beautiful weather.
The food was great. I enjoyed their AYCE BBQ lunch on their patio overlooking the golf course. The BBQ lunch includes a variety of different dishes from hamburgers and hot dogs to ribs and salmon.
