Move over pho restaurants in North York... a new challenger has arrived. Pho Kim brings a refreshing execution level of simple authentic Vietnamese cuisine dishes. So far I've tried their pho, bun cha, butter chicken wings, broken rice, fried rice, and three types of traditional vietnamese desserts (soft tofu, flan, and fermented rice balls in rum). Every dish was 5/5. At my latest visit I ordered the broken rice with grilled pork. I was amazed at how juicy and well seasoned the pork was. It was the best grilled pork I've ever had in my life. The cabbage side dish was pickled to perfection and had an awesome bite texture. I keep coming back for more because I'm generally curious about trying the entire menu. I like how they serve pandan tea here and feel that it's actually a great neutral palette cleanser. This restaurant is spacious, bright, clean, friendly, and the staff are really connected with their cooks. It shows a lot of pride in their food and care about how they operate... and to be frank, that's a rarity in Vietnamese restaurants. Bravo Pho Kim! PS - I've edited this review probably 5x now because I keep having more things to rave about. I truly wish everyone will get a chance to eat here and enjoy the food as...

I had a wonderful experience dining here. The food was truly excellent—rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. I especially enjoyed the combination of dishes I ordered: the Vietnamese soup was flavorful and comforting, the mango salad with chicken was refreshing and well-balanced, and the tea served on the side was a perfect complement to the meal. Each element worked harmoniously to create a satisfying and memorable dining experience. The only aspect I wasn’t completely satisfied with was the consistency of the noodles in the soup. They were a bit too soft for my preference, and I feel the dish would have been even better if the noodles had a slightly firmer texture. That said, the broth was incredible—rich, aromatic, and deeply satisfying—which more than made up for the noodle texture. Overall, I was very impressed. This is hands down the best Vietnamese soup I’ve had in Canada. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Vietnamese cuisine, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more items...

The restaurant is newly open and very clean. Staff were very friendly and our food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. The Bun Bo Hue’s broth had a subtle drop of spiciness which I prefer. Pho’s broth was also flavorful. Every dishes were served with its veggie separately. Price was reasonable with portion. All in all, would come back again.

Updated: very disappointed because of staff and owner’s attitude. I ordered Pho and the veggie was finished after they served the table next to mine. I asked and two of them showed unhappily. The owner came to me and said there was no more veggie served with the Pho. I was ok and asked for beansprout and FRESH chilli. She yelled PICKLED chilli on the table and left. I saw her coming to other table and took the LEFTOVER beansprout, walked into the kitchen and came back to my table after 2 minutes with the beansprout which was still having a stem of spring onion with a bit broth on… I used to be a loyal customer here even for dining...
