Ive lived in ther Area for the past year. So i finally decided to try this place out with my girlfriend. We sat on the patio. The food was okay. She spring rolls erent very good. I order the soup and my girlfriend the rice plate.. they even cooked the egg well done when normally with this plate it is cooked medium. And i was given a pinch of bean sprout. This service mad us fairly uncomfortable. Out of 20 years of eating at multiple pho's across the gta this is the first time ive ever felt such a dissservice. As a hispanic male. First thing when arriving at any pho your automatically served tea.. the young gentlemen sat us down gave up a menu and did not return. After another ASIAN couple came the server came out right away sat them down gave them there tea and walked back in. They wrote down the order and the server came back right away took there order looked right at me an continued to walk inside. Then i saw in his face he thought oh right and came and took our order. We had to verbally remind the gentlemen that we didnt get our tea. The server never returned after that...never asked us if we needed anything else It felt rather uncomfortable and rather discriminating. Aside the fact i was with a vietnamese female even she was astonished by what just happened it was a first time for her too i just aplogized to her because it was rather clear we were not serviced because of my dark complexion. Probably wont return regardless how close it may be. These young servers were...
Read moreI've been here since their old locations but like most people in the reviews I agree that it is not the same as it used to be. I still find the food delicious and it has a lot of varieties but the consistency is not the same and due to the prices I find it a bit expensive. Food wise, their fried chicken in fish sauce with sticky rice is a must for me! Super crunchy and sweet/savoury! The bo 7 mon is pretty good too with a lot of small varieties that comes with it though I find it pretty small but it's delicious! It's a fun experience and you're definitely paying for that but I find it more of a nice snack then a full meal. Their bo la lot is delicious as well. The service is slow due to it being busy which is understandable but the lady there(manager/boss) is very nice and helpful if you have any questions
Update: we've been here and the fried chicken with sticky rice is still good. However the customer service from the waiter was displeasing. He took our order and it was partly our fault for not realizing soon enough that it was missing something. When we told him(not expecting him to give us new food or anything but just to let him know and for clarifications) he seems annoyed and blamed us that it was our fault for calling the...
Read moreRead moreIt cannot worth any star. Food is ok but customer service is extremely bad. I came there 2 times. First time I went there with my friend, after waiting for barely an hour, raw beef and Salad of Beef 7 ways were served. Then I had to wait until the owner told us to leave to let other people have our sit. When I said I still had 5 more dishes which had not served us, she yelled to kitchen to pack our food to go. Holy sh** I paid to eat in side, because me and my friend cannot take food to go outside and eat @@". Recently, we came back and hope they treat us better, but this time they welcome and priority to serve food for a group even though that group came after and ordered after us!!! They focus to serve a group quickly because they also dismiss guests early like us before!! They spent more time to eat, if a lot of new guests are line up outside, no matter what, owner will come and "kick" all of them/us out with bad behaviour and fake smile.. I hate that. I have never come there again. Never! I can pay for BAD food rather than BA...
