Super Wonder Gallery — Attraction in Toronto

I am usually loath to write bad reviews, but I volunteered at an event held here and while the patrons were spared the behind the scenes events and had a wonderful time, the point of contact person for the space showed up late, hungover and only started to prep the space for the event well after the time he was scheduled to have it completed. This left the rest of us to scramble with limited set up time.

When the event was over, I was chastised for having a light set up so I could see the area/gear I was packing up because, and I quote, "Come on guys, I'm trying to watch a video here!"

His unprofessionalism caused an untold amount of stress and extra work for those of us who weren't getting paid. His behaviour greatly diminished the event (as much of the work in the weeks leading up to the event needed to be abandoned and we weren't able to properly test the set up) and frankly, I can't imagine returning to this venue in any capacity ever again.

Super creative wonderful art gallery that hosts unusual fine art exhibitions showcasing the work of naturally talented local artists. Its almost exceptional, and wouldnt seem out of place in New York or Miami. I loved the exhibition but the event had also a conference and the guy who was in charge was interrupting the speaker. The sound didn't work so well and all the time the disco lights where on while the conference was going on, what was very distracting. Also, for an inauguration day, there were not goodies and you have to pay for entrance. It looked very amateurish for an art gallery, but the paintings were really good. At least they...
